Leading Men to a More Fulfilled Life with Tyran Mowbray

Leading Men to a More Fulfilled Life with Tyran Mowbray

I’m so excited to have Tyran Mowbray, a men's sex and health mentor, on the show today. Tyran works with men in masculinity, relationships, and sexuality. In this episode, he reveals what led him into a moment of crisis and how it ended up changing the course of his life. Tyran speaks from a deep knowledge of experience and puts himself to the test time and time again to continue to expand and lead men and women towards a more authentic life. This episode left me speechless and I hope you feel the raw energy I felt even over zoom.

Why Being "Too Much" Is Actually A Sign Of Growth

Why Being "Too Much" Is Actually A Sign Of Growth

Today, I want to talk about being too much: emotion, depth, energy, drama, and darkness. Too much everything! This issue is something I had struggled with in my early life. However, after my divorce, I started feeling the same thing again. Not only have I been single for a few years now, but my circle of friends is also narrowing. This episode is for anyone who feels socially or emotionally lost, but on the other hand, knows what they want out of their lives.

Just Because It’s Available Doesn’t Mean It’s Right

Just Because It’s Available Doesn’t Mean It’s Right

I want to talk about something that comes up for everyone as they start to rebuild after divorce, after changing their business model, and after burning it down as a whole – that is the fact that just because something is available, it doesn’t mean it’s necessarily for you. This is something that came up for me after going on a date recently. The date was great, the man was emotionally available, but there were just a few signs that made me know he wasn’t the right person for me. It’s hard to listen to this though, so let’s talk about it together on today’s episode of Let the Rest Burn.

Healing Sisterhood Wounds with Ash McDonald

Healing Sisterhood Wounds with Ash McDonald

I’m so honored to have Ash McDonald, mom of three and Holistic Business Coach on the podcast today. Ash is someone who I am immensely inspired by and I can’t wait to bring this conversation to you today. This episode is covering a “Let the Rest Burn moment” for not only Ashley, but for myself, too. You’ll hear how we’ve healed our own sisterhood wounds – wounds that were largely created by me. I know that so many women crave being able to work through the painful experiences that we have with other women. This conversation shows what’s possible for each of your relationships through doing individual work.

The In Between: Dating After Divorce

The In Between: Dating After Divorce

I often record Let the Rest Burn in the moment, and this episode is no different. I’m recording on a Sunday night where I am finding myself in the in between – the place that is most difficult to hold your ground. What I mean by that is the time between the ending of your relationship and the beginning of the next one. Especially in dating, this is when you don't have any prospects when you're sitting in the space in between. How do you navigate this in a healthy way? Let’s talk about it together.

What It Means To “Do The Work”

What It Means To “Do The Work”

Today I want to talk about a concept that I have been asked about at least a dozen times, and that is what it means to “do the work”. I want to talk about it because I think it's a different process for everybody, and  as a therapist, I think I have a very different definition of what doing the work means than most. If you’re a listener of Let the Rest Burn, you know I've been very vulnerable and honest about my own personal process in the divorce and in my discovery of self and what I've had to burn. Today, I'm going to get vulnerable again, because I think that's the only way to do this.I want to talk about what it means to do the work and what it means to fake doing the work. Let’s dive in!

Shannon Santangelo ,

Incredibly supportive!

So loved the conversation on when to burn it all down. Colleen’s voice is easy to drop into and I truly appreciate her openness and willingness to say the hard thing and go her own way while providing tactical tools to get back home to ourselves.

AMAZING

So grateful for this podcast! I was blown away by the first one and they keep getting better. With each podcast, I find myself taking notes and going back and listening to certain parts again. I’ve shared this with so many friends! To me, this is where the work is and what a gift Colleen is to the world! Beyond grateful. ❤️🙏
