The Salve Regina is a Marian antiphon composed during the Middle Ages, and it is often prayed at the end of the rosary and during some hours of the Divine Office depending on liturgical season. The Hail, Holy Queen is the English translation of this Latin antiphon. Salve, Regina, mater misericordiae; vita, dulcedo et spes nostra, salve. Ad te clamamus exsules filii Hevae. Ad te suspiramus gementes et flentes in hac lacrimarum valle. Eia ergo, advocata nostra, illos tuos misericordes oculos ad nos converte.
