    5. This 4 minute daily thing helped cure my depression

    the thing about falling off the horse is you can always get back on it. I'm trying a new way of doing things (when aren't I?) and telling you about a practice that - among other things - massively helped my mental health and self esteem at a really low point in my life. it's 6 questions, that I thought about the answers to everyday, and they were genuinely life changing. let me know what you think of the new format at @humansatsuma and look after yourself this week. love, Andy

    New year, same you... despite my scepticism, the turn of the new year is a lush time to set some intentions, reflect on what you've built, and set yourself up for as nice a time as we can get right now. This episode is stuffed full of tips and reflections to take into 2024, so if you're looking for a soft reset, a source of hope, or some juicy journaling prompts, you're in the right place. In this episode I quote Zora Neale Hurston: "There are years that ask questions, and years that answer."     Like many people you may have been watching in horror at what is happening in Israel and Palestine. You may be painfully up to date, or have no idea what's going on. Either way, here are some simple thoughts on what is happening, a very brief oversimplified context, and some accessible actions you can take. I really urge you to act in any small way you can, because it all adds up. Disclaimer: the situation both now and historically is INCREDIBLY complex and so I have tried to just stick to the basics.
