    Let's Get DEEP: Ep. 2.10 I'm The Bigger Penguin Obviously

    SEASON 2 FINALE. To get you all in the holiday spirit we open our gifts to each other. Danielle gives Lindsey an extra surprise. And Lindsey hates surprises. Which Danielle is fully aware of. Hehehe.  This week we review "I'm Thinking Of Ending Things," (2020), directed by Charlie Kaufman, available on Netflix. Really the only thing we should have ended was this movie like an hour and 50 minutes before we did. If you love to be confused and frustrated this is the film for you! But it's still fun to listen to us complain about things, right? So go on and give it a listen. We'll be back in a few weeks with season 3. New year, new us! Well, not new exactly. We're still gonna bitch and make fun of each other and talk about dirty things. But there will be more of it! So yay.  All we want for Christmas is more followers.     Let's Get DEEP: Ep. 2.09 He Bagged My Groceries Wrong...I'm Over It

    Holiday season is upon us! We were eager to know if we made the Nice List this year so we took a super official, North Pole approved, Buzzfeed quiz to find out. Before you listen please guess who's naughtier. (It's probably who you think it is.) Also, doesn't "naughtier" not look or sound like a real word? Maybe we can ask for a dictionary for Christmas this year. Normally we'd Google it, but the WiFi at Santa's workshop is spotty at best. All that free labor and the guy can't even afford fast internet? Wild. We review "Holidate" (2020), directed by John Whitesell, streaming on Netflix. Two singles decide to be platonic plus-ones to every holiday event. Which like, is sort of genius. Because honestly, how annoying is it when your parents expect you to be married and pregnant every time you come home to visit? THESE THINGS TAKE TIME, MOM. Insta is a pretty cool platform.     Let's Get DEEP: Ep. 2.07 Should I Get Some Ribs Removed?

    If you want to listen to Lindsey's most horrific childhood memory (featuring an all orange outfit) this is the episode for you. We also try our best to not talk about t**s the entire time and we almost succeed. Also, does anyone else remember Phat Farms?? Those sneakers were the shit. RIP Phat Farms.  This week we review Dolly Parton's documentary, Here I Am (2019), directed by Francis Whately. What a mysterious figure she is. Even after watching this documentary we still have so many questions. HOW many blonde wigs does she have? WHO did she have a flirtation with that almost ruined her marriage? WHAT did she think of Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball video?? We just don't know!  Also, it's the holidays. We want listens and followers for Christmas.     Why is this episode so long?? We're extra chatty. I think we feel better now that 46 has been confirmed... We're FREE. Anyways, this week we delve into love. Our love of each other, the film, chain restaurants. Danielle tries her best to embarrass Lindsey, but as per usual Lindsey's just not having it. SUCH A TOUGH NUT TO CRACK.  We review The Boys In The Band (2020), directed by Joe Mantello, available on Netflix. The film covers a flamboyant birthday party in 1968 where booze, messy relationships, and homophobia lead to a wild party game. Who would you call if you were asked to call your one true love?     As if we're not divided as a nation already...this week we tackle some hard hitting debates! (NOT featured in this episode... Is a hotdog a sandwich? Lindsey says no, Danielle says yes.) It's been a stressful week for everyone, and we hope our banter brightens your day just a smidgen. Share with your friends and family and anyone who has a strong opinion on whether or not aliens exist. Up for discussion this week is Hunt For The Wilderpeople (2016), directed by Taika Waititi, available on Netflix. Spoiler alert: we LOVED it. So quirky. So action packed. So New Zealand-y.     Let's Get DEEP: Ep. 204 Died and Came Back To Life

    We're BACK! Our own Lindsey Lauria was quite under the weather, but she's all healed now. (For all of those who auditioned to take Lindsey's spot if she croaked...sorry!) We played a frustrating game of "Would You Rather," and by the end of the episode Danielle was laugh/crying. AH the JOYS of podcasting! This week we review The Devil All The Time (2020), directed by Antonio Campos, available for streaming on Netflix now. If you love animal sacrifices, serial killers, and insane spiritual leaders this might be the film for you. It had a lot going on, and as you'll see that made it a bit tough to review. But we did our best!  Did you have a holly jolly Halloween?  (Also, listen to the end. Shout out to Danielle's dad for insisting we bring back the crazy outros.)
