    S2 Episode 5: With Hannah Hodson

    Series 2 reaches the half-way stage as Hannah Hodson joins Tom for an honest and powerful conversation on her journey with incurable cervical cancer. First noticing warning signs back in 2014, Hannah opens up on a close to 10-year battle & bravely discusses diagnosis, experience of treatment & trials and the impact that cancer has had on not only her mental health but the mental health of those around her. A huge thanks to Hannah for being a part of Series 2 and sharing her story.     S2 Episode 4:With Oliver Seligman

    Join Tom for another Episode in Series 2 of Let’s Get Talking. The show reaches Oslo in Norway as monk, author and motivational speaker Oliver Seligman discusses his lifelong battle with Bipolar. Diagnosed at 17, Oliver has battled with suicidal depressions, bewildering psychoses and the side effects of psychiatric medication. Across this powerful conversation, Oliver offers guidance he discovered along his journey & how he found peace with an illness that can and has destroyed lives. A big thanks to Oliver for taking time to appear on the show and sharing his story.

    S2 Episode 3: With Pete Dowsing

    Happy New Year to you all and welcome back to Series 2. Joining Tom for Episode 3 is a great friend of the show, Pete Dowsing. This powerful & moving episode delves deep inside Pete’s mental health experiences, battle with PTSD and his 8-year service within the military. Pete speaks openly about his childhood, route into the military and his personal mental health battles following the experiences he faced when serving. Pete discusses the strategies he uses to maintain a positive mindset throughout his on-going battle with PTSD. A big thanks to Pete for sharing his story and taking time to do so.

    S2 Episode 2: With Carole Baskin

    For the much anticipated second episode of the new Series, Tom is joined on the show by American animal rights activist Carole Baskin who featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary Tiger King. Carole was thrust into the spotlight when Tiger King was released and received constant abuse following the show due to the nature of some of the content.   Throughout this exciting episode, Carole discusses her hectic upbringing in the US, opens up on her personal mental health experiences and takes you through the entire Tiger King journey; including some inside information on Tiger King 2. A huge thanks to Carole for taking time to be a part of the show, sharing her story so openly and providing some fantastic advice on how to have a positive outlook no matter the situation.

    S2 Episode 1: Back With Tom ( & Molly)

    Delve back into Let’s Get Talking with the all-new Series 2 and Episode 1. Tom is back in front of the microphone once again and is ready to bring you all an exciting new Series full of fantastic guests, honest conversation, and inspiring stories. For Episode 1, Tom talks his personal life, re-caps the successful Series 1 and gives you an insight into what to expect from this brand-new series.     Episode 8: With Sally O'Neill

    As the show moves closer to the end of Series 1; Tom is joined by Sally O'Neill for Episode 8.  Sally was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in December 2018 and talks bravely about the battle she faced with the illness, the various complications and how she fought for her life on several occasions.  This is an episode full of inspiration as Sally takes us through her powerful and moving journey & the extreme difficulties she was faced with.  A huge thanks to Sally for sharing her story & providing some beautiful comments on staying positive and dealing with the most extreme setbacks.

    Episode 7: With Nick Gazzard

    Tom is joined on the show by Nick Gazzard from the Hollie Gazzard Trust. Nick and his family created the trust following the murder of his daughter Hollie in 2014 by an ex-partner. The trust helps to reduce domestic violence through creating and delivering programmes on domestic abuse and promoting healthy relationships to schools & colleges. Nick speaks openly on his everyday battle with grief, discusses how the trust has positively impacted the lives of young people in Gloucestershire and beyond, explains how you can protect yourself with the Hollie Guard app and how important it is to speak out if you are facing difficulties in a relationship. He delves into his career and discusses captaining the likes of Ian Botham, playing in The Ashes and how he deployed leadership & resilience skills to adapt to the world of professional sport. Since retiring from cricket Mike has a pursued a career as a writer and psychoanalyst; he discuses this journey with Tom in length and provides a fascinating insight into how discipline, commitment and adaptability can play a huge part in your daily mindset or mental health.
