Ep. 187 After hearing men share what they go through — Two women reflect

I'm joined by empowerment and business coach Sandra McIntosh, host of 90 Day Wins,  @SandyB90DW  for a pointed and heartfelt reflection on two powerful podcast conversations — Den of Kings and Just Heal — where men opened up about mental health, grief, faith, and healing. Kirk Franklin hosted one podcast and was a guest on the other. Here are those conversations that inspired this Let's Start Healing episode: Just Heal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95BwtFsaNMY&list=PL-NoYPoRM_guonMqvDd217EkqYYdND4VL&index=3 Den of Kings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeX11CYxq9w Sandra — who has been married for 21 years — and myself, as a single woman, bring two different perspectives to what we heard and felt as men shared their emotional truths. (90 Day Wins Podcast https://www.youtube.com/@SandyB90DW) We explore what it means to witness men being vulnerable — to hear them speak about the pressures they face, the pain they often carry quietly, and the courage it takes to express it. The conversation moves through themes of spirituality vs. religion, loss, healing, and the possibility of deeper understanding between men and women. This isn't an expert discussion — it's an open-hearted reflection between two women listening, learning, and sometimes frustrated but always holding space for men's humanity. #mensmentalhealth #relationships #spirituality #religion #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #godislove #letststarthealing #kirkfranklin

Ep. 184 Pt.3B Raw-24 hours Live: What is the Why in Your Life? (Healing)

Part 3B of "24 Hours Live: What Is the Why in Your Life?" — a soulful endurance challenge. Over 24 continuous hours, I was joined by friends, spiritual thinkers, and inspiring guests from across the U.S. and the world to explore the deeper question: What is the Why in your life? 3 a.m hour to almost 8 a.m. This is Raw and Largely Unedited. In this segment, I am joined by Spiritual Coach James Sims; from the UK, Reiki Healer Jyoti Channa-Rekhi; from Portugal, cousin David Byrd on how he and his wife came to live there; and he is joined by cousin and Atlanta resident Cheryl Phillips.  I set out to do this as an endurance challenge and as a way to honor my late mother on her birthday, and realized it would be a great way to benefit Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice, an organization dedicated to advocating for children and families across Georgia. In Part 3B – Healing, we discuss the importance of following your ligjht. 🕊️ Throughout this 24-hour experience: • We share stories of growth, resilience, and self-discovery • We honor the power of community and compassion • We celebrate my mother's legacy of love through service and connection.  🎁 Learn more or support Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice: https://gaappleseed.org/ #Spirituality #Selflove #Selfcare #MentalHealth #LetsStartHealing #SpiritualPodcast #HealingJourney #Purpose #Faith #24HourLive #GeorgiaAppleseed
