    Jessica McClaughin talks with us about being an on-going case manager for Child Protection and a case manager for Children's Mental Health Services for over fifteen years. She talks about what child protection workers do, as well as the challenges and rewards. Learn more about this role that we have all heard about, but do not know much about.

    Profile: Retired Lt. Jody Nelson

    Retired Lt. Jody Nelson has worked at every level of law enforcement: county, federal, and local enforcement. She was part of the first wave of women hired to be full time peace officers in the 1980s when she joined the Minneapolis (MN) Police Department. Join us as she talks about her journey, and challenges, as she worked in a profession she loved, and her roles in being married to a peace officer, being a daughter of a peace officer, and being the mother of a peace officer.
