Let's Talk | UCA Podcast #3 with Rosemary Folker & Steve Holloway

Together, we reflect on the association’s 25-year journey — from its origins and early challenges to creating a voice for vitalistic chiropractors. We explore the evolving philosophy of chiropractic, the value of diversity within the profession, and the responsibility of future chiropractors to uphold strong ethical standards while continuing to advocate for chiropractic principles. Rosemary Folker: Passionate about chiropractic and its future direction, Rosemary was one of the founders of the UCA as she wanted to give chiropractors in the UK a voice to practice in a wellness model. Rosemary has been involved in chiropractic her whole life as her grandfather studied under BJ Palmer and was one of the first chiropractors to practice in the UK in 1932. Connect with Rosemary: Website: www.norwichspinalhealth.co.uk Steve Holloway: In 1996, thanks to an introduction from Veronica Hope, he met his amazing wife, Anne Renkin. At the time, Steve had never heard of chiropractic, but fortunately, Anne was more than willing to begin his education in the field. In 1998, Steve and Anne founded the Ashton Chiropractic Family Wellness Centre on the outskirts of Manchester, marking the start of his chiropractic journey. A year later, in 1999, Steve joined a group of like-minded individuals to establish the United Chiropractic Association, and, as they say, the rest is history.
