Reading slumps are also a common occurrence that can happen to many readers. Sometimes you just can't bring yourself to pick up a novel and read; which is completely okay. But you may want to get over this slump as soon as possible in order to read that book that you're looking forward to. Emily then goes on to talk about ways that have helped her get over these reading slumps.
