Why Does Justice Feel Different for Black America?

Episode 62: Why Does Justice Feel Different for Black America? Why do so many Black Americans view certain court cases, voting rights debates, and conversations about justice through a different lens? Why do so many people respond with, "Just move on," while others feel their concerns are being dismissed? In this episode of Let's Talk With Carl E. Long, I tackle these difficult questions head-on. Inspired by the reactions to my previous episode, I address the comments, the criticism, and the broader conversation surrounding justice, race, empathy, and America's ongoing struggle to understand one another. Using the recent Karmelo Anthony case as one example of why many people are asking difficult questions about fairness and trust in our justice system, I explore why these conversations continue to resonate so deeply within the Black community. This isn't about assigning guilt or creating division—it's about encouraging honest dialogue, listening with empathy, and challenging all of us to become better neighbors, better citizens, and better allies. Whether you agree with me or strongly disagree, my hope is that you'll stay for the entire conversation with an open mind. We don't have to think alike to treat each other with dignity and respect. Long is where we tackle today's toughest conversations with honesty, respect, and a commitment to understanding one another. #LetsTalkWithCarlELong #Justice #BlackAmerica #RaceInAmerica #Empathy #VotingRights #CivilRights #Community #Dialogue #Equality #AmericanJustice #SocialCommentary #Podcast #YouTubePodcast #CurrentEvents #ThinkForYourself #BeAnAlly #RespectfulDialogue #CarlELong #LetsTalk
