    Mercury conjoins Chiron

    Mercury conjoins Chiron

I mean, of course y’all know I was gonna be out here in these streets for this major astrological transit of Mercury conjoining Chiron in Aries. I speak on this episode about why Chiron as an archetype has been so pivotal in my own discovery journey, as well as my journey in accepting my trans identity and living with a chronic illness and disability.
CW: I do mention HIV/AIDS as well as STIs when speaking about my personal journey as a young human living in the conservative South.
Here is the text to the poem I read in the episode at the end:
    Venus in Leo
Fire goldsrun deepin blood redstake on the sunweave its essence into your sinewsso that the fibers underneath skinmight glowand burn away your doubtof your own divinity
if you would only allow yourselfto ingest your own magnificence
allow it to poison the deep well full of the questions that keep the lies etched in the muscles of your heart
Not mentioned on this episode (because I forgot): The upcoming workshop I am holding on “Discovering the Archetype Ereshkigal in Toni Morrison’s Sula.” Tickets can be found here.

    The Wound of Scarcity

    The Wound of Scarcity

In this episode, I speak about the emergent topic of scarcity. It has come up in many of my circles. It is what happens when we meet the threshold of death and loss. We feel afraid nothing will come back to us.

Speaking the wound of malefic embodiment

Speaking the wound of malefic embodiment

CW: there are very brief references to childhood abuse. No details are given, however.
In this episode I talk about the wound of our natural tendency to be malefic and embracing that. We often run from this. We are told we must be good, holy even. But, we cannot escape that we will be the villain in someone’s story. At some point we will cause harm. We hope that it is reconcilable, but it may not be. That doesn’t mean anyone is inherently bad or good. We must hold space for all possibilities.
In the beginning of the show I give a bit more detail about what you can expect to experience in my 12 month digital container “Letting Chiron Sing.” Doors close February 23 and our initiation weekend is February 24th. There are two energy exchange options: $15 per month or $99 a year. You can also check out the list of guest workers here.

How the wound of colonization impacts the understanding of Community

How the wound of colonization impacts the understanding of Community

It’s almost been a month since the last recording. I am grateful for the spaciousness. This episode felt much more personal, mainly because I speak about the collective misunderstanding of Capricorn and our drive to build, how important this New Moon in Capricorn is for me in my personal journey, and the release of my new offering “Letting Chiron Sing” the container into this world.
My dreams are unfolding through this new offering which is a 12 month digital community space where we will explore what it means to live out our woundings. There’s an amazing list of guest workers here. Doors open 1/24/24 but you can catch an early bird deal up until 1/23/24.

The Moon, Gender and the Wound of Femininity

The Moon, Gender and the Wound of Femininity

Full warning: This episode spirals a bit. I taped this while the Moon in Pisces was conjunct Neptune in Pisces. There was a lot of fog over the murky Piscean waters of my brain. My ADHD is full throttle, but I hope you can stay in an imaginative space with me!
Intro: I am offering a newsletter starting at the top of the year entitled “Alchemic Oracle” which will provide a peek into the energy of the month via astrology and cartomancy. It serves as a soft landing space to hold the inevitability of your limitless existence in dreaming your world for the next month. If you are hot for this, visit www.ensoulmentdoula.com, and subscribe at the bottom of the welcome page. As a way to say thank you, you’ll receive an email after signing up that will give you a code to download my grounding Affirmation Meditation for FREE.
Note: In this episode I mention the Abrahamic religions in a way that could be viewed as negative. In the spirit of publishing a podcast at the height of a Mercury Rx, I want to add some clarity: There is a belief in the spiritual community that somehow it is devoid of the problematic nature of certain archetypes of Abrahamic religions, but specifically Christianity. This is just not true. Every archetype has the potential to be problematic as they are based on human ideals. We should be able to hold room for both of these truths. I am *not* suggesting that one is better than the other. Rather, it is an acknowledgment of my own experiences and understandings.

    Living Out the Wound

    Living Out the Wound

In this episode, you will find me in a very tender spot as I speak about my experience leaving a toxic work environment where who I am was not celebrated consistently. When you exist in the liminal, in the margins, living your truth out loud can feel like a death sentence. As I navigate what is next for me, I want to share my experience with the Ensoulment Community.
I also mention a circle I will hold this coming Friday, December 15th, at 10AM EST. It is called “At the Hearth” and here we will sit and commune in collective meditation led me by with a reading asking where we can put our energy, and invite grief to sit outside of our bodies during this holy, dark season. It’s $9 to drop in with access to infinite replays. If this feels resonant, visit my website here.

React then think

I’ve loved this podcast listening from the start. The guests are amazing, the discussion more real, and the amount of knowledge I glean is priceless. In a space where my voice isn’t always heard, and I tend to mask elsewhere, learning more about myself and ways to speak into myself is empowering. Also the host’s voice is amazingly calming, which I love when we hit some more sensitive topics. It reminds me to take care and add softness to my
