Music from my Podcast via Pixabay. Send Email here :) In this captivating episode, we unravel the extraordinary journey of our guest, whose roots trace back to the enchanting town of Sonneberg, famed for its toy heritage and the Sandmenschen. Despite a childhood spent amidst the beauty of nature, traditional schooling failed to ignite her passion, leading to setbacks and academic challenges, including initially failing high school. Undeterred by adversity, our guest embarked on a quest for self-discovery, venturing to Magdeburg to pursue her dream of studying fashion design. It was in the vibrant city of Leipzig, however, where she found not only artistic inspiration but also a sense of belonging among a close-knit group of friends.  Yet, after completing fashion school, job opportunities proved elusive, leading her on a winding journey that included stints in Greece and office jobs. It was during this time that she discovered her latent talent as a printmaker, crafting exquisite lino prints of animals, a venture that eventually evolved into her own business.  However, the journey was far from over. A chance encounter with an Instagram ad reignited her academic ambitions, prompting her to revisit her high school education and subsequently enroll in university to study informatics. Despite facing the challenges of being the oldest in her class, her matured perspective enriched both her life and studies.  Now, firmly rooted in Leipzig, she finds joy in a myriad of activities, from leisurely walks with her beloved canine companion in Friedenspark to exploring cozy cafes and vibrant flea markets. Join us as she shares her insights, experiences, and invaluable tips gleaned from a life shaped by resilience, reinvention, and relentless pursuit of passion.
