Leyline High Rewind

Ah, Leyline High…favorite show after Candle Cove. Literally, it came one after another in a rock block of entertainment (grew up in the 90s). Though I came in late to the party I still feel like I didn’t miss a single episode. The best shows are incredibly accessible that way. Anyway, thanks all for sharing your love for this show for anyone who missed it the first time or wanted to relive the experience. Hope nobody snatches your milk (I think I got the catchphrase right)!

It can be weird listening to Leyline High Rewind as an American, since only about 10% of the original Leyline High episodes made it here (and in my region at least were unsubtly retitled "Hellmouth High"). The first several seasons never made it here at all, and the episodes shown on PBS After Midnight were renumbered, retitled, and reordered beyond recognition. Those who nevertheless loved the show will enjoy finally catching up on YouTube, with the podcast hosts as their intrepid companions. The trio have a sense of humor about LH's soapy plotlines and Garth Marenghi-level effects, and I'm realizing that some of the plot holes I remembered can't be blamed on its transatlantic mangling. The podcast, however, manages to be a delight.
