    A Church Family

    In this week's message, Pastor Nate took us to the Book of Ephesians in a message titled "A Church Family" from Ephesians 2:8-22, with a special focus on verses 19-22. Many people view church as simply a place they attend, but God's Word reminds us that through Jesus, the church is so much more. Because of Christ, believers are not just attendees gathered in the same building each week—we are members of the family of God. Pastor Nate highlighted four truths about the church family: • Because of Jesus, we are more than attendees—we are the family of God (v. 19). • Because of Jesus, we have a secure foundation in the family of God (v. 20). • Because of Jesus, each believer has a purpose and function within the church family (v. 21). • Because of Jesus, we are being built together into a dwelling place for God (v. 22). The church is not simply an organization to join but a family to belong to. Through Christ, God has brought us together, given us a firm foundation, equipped us with purpose, and is continually shaping us into a people who display His presence to the world.

    Romans: Week 29

    This past Sunday, Pastor Nate continued our walk through Romans as we looked at Romans 10:1-4 and were challenged by Paul’s deep burden for people to know Jesus. Paul said, “My heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.” What a reminder that the gospel doesn’t just change what we believe, it changes our hearts. It reshapes our desires, our burdens, and the way we pray for others. The same Paul who once persecuted the church had been completely transformed by the grace of God. His greatest desire became seeing people come to faith in Christ. That’s the power of the gospel at work in a life. This message challenged us to ask: Have comfort and distraction replaced gospel urgency in our lives? As believers, we are called to live with open eyes and willing hearts, ready to point people to Jesus. This week, pray that God would soften your heart and place one person in your path who needs to hear the hope of the gospel. Invite them to church. Share your story. Pray with them. Step out in faith and trust God to work. The harvest is ready. May we be willing workers who continue to Make Jesus Known.

    Mothers Day 2026

    Today at Little Flock, Pastor Nate shared a powerful message titled “The Aim Of A Godly Woman.” Through Proverbs 31:25-26, Titus 2:3-5, and 2 Timothy 1:5, we were reminded of the impact of women who faithfully pursue Christ and influence those around them for God’s glory. Godly women aim for Christ-like character. A woman who walks closely with Jesus reflects His strength, wisdom, grace, and love in her everyday life. Godly women aim to be faithful in their calling. God honors women who serve faithfully in the roles and responsibilities He has entrusted to them. Godly women aim to influence the next generation. A godly legacy is built through intentional discipleship, encouragement, and faithfulness passed from one generation to the next.     Romans: Week 28

    This week, Pastor Nate continued our journey through Romans 9:18–33, reminding us of the powerful truth that God is both perfectly just and incredibly merciful. We were challenged to see that God delights in showing mercy to those who truly want Him. Righteousness is not something we achieve on our own—it is by faith and faith alone. No amount of effort or good works can earn a right standing with God; it is received by trusting in Jesus. At the same time, we were reminded that God displays His authority through both His justice and His mercy. He is sovereign over all things, and His ways are always right—even when we don’t fully understand them. The question we were left with is deeply personal: Are you trusting in Jesus for your righteousness, or are you relying on yourself? This passage calls us to lay down self-reliance, trust fully in Christ, and live in awe of the mercy we’ve been given.

    Romans: Week 27

    There’s a powerful truth we can’t afford to miss: salvation is not something we earn—it is completely the result of God’s mercy. In Romans 9:16–18, we’re reminded that God’s mercy is not based on our effort, our goodness, or our striving… it is His alone to give. Even in the midst of human rebellion, God is never at a loss. He is sovereign, just, and full of mercy. But don’t mistake God’s patience for permission. His mercy is an invitation—not to continue in sin, but to turn to Him. So how do we experience that mercy? • Walk in humility • Ask God for mercy • Know Jesus When we truly understand the depth of His mercy, it changes how we live. It humbles us, draws us closer to Him, and leads us to live in awe of what He has done for us. Let’s be a people who don’t just talk about mercy—but who live in it daily.

    Is there justice with God? Today in Romans 9:14–18, Pastor Nate reminded us of a powerful truth: God is perfectly just in all His ways—and His mercy is beyond anything we could ever earn. We’re often tempted to question God’s decisions, but Scripture calls us to trust His character instead of putting Him on trial. Salvation isn’t about what we bring to the table—it’s about God’s mercy poured out through Jesus Christ. When we truly understand that: • We stop striving and start resting in His sovereignty • We stop judging and start showing mercy to others • We live in awe of the grace we’ve received We didn’t earn His love. We can’t control it. And we certainly don’t deserve it. Yet God, in His goodness, chose to save.     Easter 2026: He Is Risen

    In a world of empty promises and broken words, Jesus stands as the ultimate truth-teller. He said He would rise from the dead—and He did. The empty tomb isn't just another miracle; it's THE miracle that proves everything Jesus said is true. This Sunday we explored John 20 and watched as confused disciples ran to an empty tomb, investigated the evidence, and came to a life-changing conclusion: He's alive. Mary Magdalene arrived looking for a body but encountered the risen Savior who called her by name. When Jesus speaks your name, everything changes. Because the tomb is empty, you can know that Jesus is exactly who He claimed to be—the way, the truth, and the life. He's not just able to rescue you from difficult situations; He wants to save you from your sin and give you a righteousness you could never earn. The question isn't whether the resurrection happened—it's how you'll respond to it. He's not there. He's risen. And He wants to know you.
