    चीफ की दावत (कहानी )- भीष्म साहनी (एक दुनिया समानांतर )

    चीफ दावत कहानी आज की पीढ़ी में नैतिक मूल्यों में गिरावट को उजागर करती है साथ ही ये चित्रण करती है कि, आज व्यक्ति अपनी सफलता औऱ स्वार्थ के पीछे इतना अंधा हो चूका है कि उन्हें अपने माता पिता के प्रति दायित्व बोध तो दूर कि बात... उनके त्याग औऱ ममता को भी भूल जाता है औऱ जब मन होता है तिरस्कार करता है, जब ज़रूरत होती है इस्तेमाल करता है... यही वजह है कि आज इतने वृद्धाश्रम हैं। जो वृद्ध इन आश्रमों में नहीं होते अक्सर वे अपने कामकाजी बेटे बहुत के घरेलू नौकर कि भांति होते है।
