Beth Lapides of L.A.'s legendary UnCabaret asks some of the funniest & most talented people on the planet the great un-answerable question, "What Makes U You?"
Comedian Judy Gold speaks with Beth Lapides
Beth speaks to the legendary, deeply funny and deeply real Judy Gold about living in NY, hiking in LA with Meredith Vieira (sort of), the danger of secrets, the joy of stand-up and the magic of being ready when you get the chance. She has won Emmy awards, had her own specials on HBO, Comedy Central & Logo. She is also the host of her own podcast Kill Me Now. Judy and Beth share a lively, lovely conversation at the gorgeous West Hollywood Library as part of their Lesbian Speaker Series (yes, she is a lesbian). Oh, and she mentions her mother.
She is a life force, fashionista, celebrated actor and a spectacularly funny comedian. Margaret Cho gets into all of it with Beth Lapides in a special episode that was recorded live at the oh so beautiful West Hollywood Council Chamber. Beth and Margaret discuss tattoo's, politics, make-up, how to make up your mind about tattoos, the Chi of Cho and so much more including a brilliant resurrection of her dear friend Joan Rivers (she also reveals Don Rickles incredibly sweet side). Get into it, get into Life (and Beth)
Seetle Washington is famous for several things-Marie's Salad Dressing, Microsoft, Amazon, Jimi Hendrick and most especially the iconic chanteuse and first lady of the staage Dina Martina. A little bit Liza, a little bit Silverback Gorilla, Dina is one of a kind. Sit back and listen to how Dina the little girl from Las Vegas became a treasured jewel of low, low budget cinema and stages the world over, or at least Seetle, Provincetown, New York and Los Angeles.
Recorded live at the one and only Book Soup in West Hollywood, Beth Lapides speaks to the magnetic, inspirational, multi-dimensional & glittering Jeffrey Marsh. With over a quarter BILLION views across social media, Jeffrey is breaking down barriers and lifting up spirits with a message of self love and how to walk the walk AND talk the talk. They have written a beautiful new book, How To Be You. So take a listen and be yourself while doing so.
He is America's Gaysian Sweetheart and has been seen in Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids, Ugly Betty and his own Showtime special Baby Daddy. He is so deep, so funny & so wonderful to chat about Life with Beth and Life & Beth.
He is one of the most talented people in the game-the game of entertaining, of writing, of directing, of storytelling. He's directed, written or produced some of the most legendary television of the modern age from 30 Rock to The Comeback to The Larry Sanders Show. He is often on stage at UnCabaret spilling it and keeping it real. Beth and Jon chat it up in a great way. Enjoy!

Sasha Alexander Interview
Beth your interview with Sasha Alexander was excellent. It was real and funny. Also very thoughtful.
I am big fan of the UnCabaret live show and have enjoyed some epic laughs at First and Hope. But on nights that are not Sunday nights and in the comfort of my home, being able to enjoy all of this insanely smart weirdness is a true blessing. I find myself laughing so hard that my laptop dinner ends, well, in my lap and on the screen. Thank you, Beth. Thank you, Mitch. Thank you, odd guests on the show.
