And while I agree that God DOES communicate with us through His Word, He also gives us His Holy Spirit so we can be in constant communion with Him, even beyond reading our Bible.     The Beauty and Pain of Work

I even thought it was punishment that we are subject to until we die. But in recent years, my perspective has been transformed. The institution of work originated with God. When we work with integrity, faithfulness, and hearts eager to please God, we are worshipping Him! And we are fulfilling His command to "fill the earth and subdue it" while being good stewards of His creation. Yet, as believers, we also wrestle with the fact that there are many frustrations in our work (overzealous bosses, office politics, gossip, bureaucratic hurdles) that can thwart our attempts to serve God.  Tune in as I discuss the beauty and pain of this thing called work!
