This podcast and Desiring GOD before it have been pivotal in my walk with GOD. I can’t say enough about John Piper’s teaching from THE WORD about our affections for GOD and world and how they do battle. I pray for the continued fruitful prospering of this ministry.

I’m glad to have found this podcast. I’m relatively new in my faith. I spent a lot of time in all the wrong places trying to understand scripture and to know God. A kind old woman handed me a book by John Piper at a bookstore years ago and the name got stuck in my mind and I’m very grateful. I spent a lot of wasted time watching popular televangelists trying to find Christ but this teaching is what has helped make the scales fall from my eyes. I have an understanding of the word of God I wish I would’ve had many years ago.

I am so grateful for John. He is the clearest teacher of the Scriptures I’ve ever listened to. And I’ve been a Christian since 1987. Every teaching on Truth & Light podcast brings me closer in my relationship with Christ. Hallelujah, praise be TO GOD. And a big thank you to John and his crew for their obedience to the Gospel.
