Only found this podcast in the last year, but I love the in depth, thorough dives we jump into with each podcast. I find Stephanie to be passionate, knowledgeable, and just plain delightful. She also has a nice balance between being professional and maintaining a real human connection. As long as she's podcasting, I will be listening!

To the astrology lovers who care and have empathy for ALL people, this one isn’t for you 🤍 I listened open heartedly to the whole message. You can agree with things that man said and agree his death was horrific, but if you can’t also see and recognize the terrible harm he had on communities that don’t like you, it’s a lack of empathy and social awareness - we’re not the close-minded ones here. Ask yourself this honestly, how can you say you support marginalized groups while praising someone that did so much harm to them? This is a fact, not an opinion. There are so many people who have spoken out on the harm he & his organization had on them. There are few people actually “celebrating” his death, yes, there’s always extremists but it’s not the majority. Most acknowledge violence is never okay but are calling out the selective outrage. I mean this respectfully, but to you and everyone smiling & nodding I ask you to please look deeper outside your circles if you actually care. The people quick to cut off are the ones exhausted being told we should agree to disagree on basic human rights. We can disagree on policies, but we can’t disagree on morality. It’s tiring trying to get people to understand this. Didn’t want to write a review, but I would want to know before investing my time in such a defensive podcaster. “I know I’ll be called racist, privileged, etc. I don’t care” mentality. How about coming from it of a place of really learning & understanding as to why people feel that way.

I discovered this podcast about three weeks before Charlie Kirk was assassinated. I absolutely loved how Stephanie explained astrology and listed to a bunch of her previous episodes. She’s a gifted astrologer. The references to God or what seemed like a more conservative worldview didn’t resonate, but I didn’t even think twice about it because it didn’t seem relevant and she seemed genuinely open minded and — most importantly — she is good at her craft. I was so disappointed when the Charlie Kirk episode and subsequent episodes came out, to discover that not only was she admiring of a man so bigoted, but that she hid behind an overly-idealized admiration for his allegedly fair-minded debate style. It felt like citing that Hitler was a vegetarian or that scientists once thought the Black people were biologically inferior. The defensive responses in the following episodes used the same tactics he did — make any criticism seem so unreasonable that you don’t have to engage in the merit of the arguments or take them seriously. Unlike other reviewers, I don’t mind that she goes into politics on her show. I’m just genuinely disappointed to learn that her values are in line with such unevolved, dark ideology that values White Christianity over all. I would love to hear her balance it out with speaking about other recent political assassinations, but she so selectively cites her examples, you would think the Charlie Kirk was the only victim of political violence.
