    Brenda Angle: He knows I will follow Him and give all my life to Him.

    Brenda Angle is a devoted mother of nine children, grandmother to forty-one grandchildren, and great grandmother to two. Her life has been dedicated to strengthening families, faith, and communities through service and leadership. She is a certified faith-based life coach and speaker who has trained and certified more than 200 faith-based life coaches. Brenda has served as an NGO representative at the United Nations advocating for families and has spent years mentoring others in faith centered leadership and personal growth. Her service also includes a mission at the Missionary Training Center in the Study Skills Office, where she works one on one with missionaries. She is the author of the books “Why Not Me” and “Breaking the Yokes That Bind Us.” Brenda previously served as President of United Families Arizona for five years and continues her work as a facilitator for Faith Based Parenting and Love and Logic Parenting programs. Her humanitarian efforts include eight years of service in Tanzania and Kenya, supporting families and communities through outreach and education. She currently serves as Vice President and Director of Philanthropy for the Legacy Giving Fund, continuing her lifelong mission of strengthening families and uplifting communities. Her work focuses on providing foundational tools that help individuals and marriages come closer to Jesus Christ. Her personal mission statement is: He knows I will follow Him and give all my life to Him.

    Cherrial Odell Inspiring Children's Foundation

    Cherrial Odell is a mental health advocate, peer counselor, and suicide attempt survivor who has transformed childhood adversity into a mission of healing and service. After surviving two suicide attempts at age thirteen and growing up in a family affected by substance use disorders and mental health challenges, she found the tools to heal through Jewel’s Inspiring Children Foundation (ICF). She now dedicates her life to helping others heal, showing that pain can be transformed into immense love and joy. She is currently studying Psychology and Interdisciplinary Arts at Stanford University. Her story has been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, in PEOPLE magazine, and in national documentaries. She serves as the President of Stanford’s Mental Health Outreach Club and is theCo-Founder of Wellness Buddies, a mental health & wellness program created in partnership with Jewel and ICF. She volunteers as a peer counselor and works as a Student Mental Health and Well-Being Intern and as staff with Stanford’s recovery program, Cardinal Recovery. Before college, Cherrial served as a peer support specialist with ICF, and was co-captain of Bob and Mike Bryan’s TEAM BRYAN as a nationally ranked tennis player and Valedictorian. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she built a Twitch-based mental health community with ICF that reached over 2.7 million people and created Inspire Cards, a conversation card game. Cherrial currently serves as Co-Chair of the Inspiring Children Foundation Alumni Board. She has been a youth advisory board member of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and was selected for Selena Gomez’s RARE Beauty College Ambassadors program. With over a decade of mindfulness practice and lived experience healing through mental health challenges, she brings wisdom, joy, and compassion to every stage she speaks on. She hopes to show others struggling that healing is possible

    David Marlon CEO of Vegas Stronger

    Dave is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vegas Stronger (a non-profit) and was formerly CEO and founder of Solutions Recovery, the largest private alcohol and other drug rehabilitation company in the state.  Before founding Solutions Recovery, he held CEO and COO positions at Sierra Health, leading HMO and Insurance operations.  Dave earned his doctoral degree in Psychology, is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor – Supervisor (LCADC-S), a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern (CPC-I), and a Department of Transportation (DOT) Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). Dave is also an interventionist on the A&E show Intervention.  Vegas Stronger is a non-profit behavioral health clinic that provides outreach and integrated behavioral health to our most underserved. Vegas Stronger has a team of over 100 staff and has helped over 2500 unhoused individuals address mental health and substance use disorder problems.  Dave Marlon founded and built one of the most successful addiction recovery centers in the country in the heart of Southern Nevada. The thirty-year Las Vegas resident, after successfully addressing his own struggles with substance abuse, realized that he was uniquely suited to help others confronting addiction.  Dave has been clean and sober since 5/15/05. His peers have consistently recognized Dave as a leader in his field. He is the Regional Vice President of NAADAC and served as President of the Southern Nevada Association of Addiction Professionals (SNAAP) and earned the 2018 National Advocacy Award from NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. Locally, he has been recognized as a graduate of the Leadership Las Vegas program, with the Mayor’s Commendation, and received the Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada’s Vanguard Award. He has served on the Governor’s Substance Abuse Working Group. Dave’s work in the recovery sector earned him the Inspired Excellence Award from Las Vegas HEALS.  He founded The CARE Coalition, The Solutions Foundation, and Vegas Stronger, each of which combat substance abuse in Southern Nevada and help raise awareness about addictive behavior and its consequences. Dave has served on many nonprofit boards, including HELP of Southern Nevada, the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, the Nevada Donor Network Foundation, Serving Our Kids Foundation, and the UNLV Soccer Foundation.  He has helped establish the first public recovery high school in the nation and is helping champion the fight against the opiate epidemic through the non-profit, Vegas Stronger. Altogether, Dave has more than thirty years of health care experience in both recovery and insurance. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the State University of New York and holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dave has earned a Doctorate in psychology at Walden University, achieving a PsyD.
