Welcome to Listen & Learn (or Not) featuring the diverse voices of Life Coach Laurie (w/ Warm 106.9), Claire (w/ 98.9 The Bull), and Anna D (we're still not EXACTLY sure what she does but she walks around our office like she's a big shot). The three amigas are giving you the best half hour (or so) they got. Follow them and share their journey with real-life everyday struggles, quirky people stories, random conversations, and, occasionally, some heavy topics, too. Come listen & learn a thing or two with us! Or not...we're not forcing you.

Jumping to Conclusions Can Be a Contact Sport
It feels like heroes and idols are rising and falling at the speed of light these days: “The Bachelor“, “The Mandalorian“, and the Seattle Mariners all lost someone important this week based on their own words and deeds. Join Coach Laurie, Anna, and Claire as we talk about the latest in “cancel culture” and where some older stars like Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster fit in with the current conversation. Also, does someone’s past behavior make us to jump to conclusions about their current situation? Because Tiger Woods made the news this week for something that it’s possible he couldn’t control. Plus, Laurie was in the Spotlight in an important place, Claire is facing personal challenges with dogs, cats, and five-year-olds, and Anna reviews “Mary Poppins”. Or Not!

If You Can Imagine It You Can Achieve It
The weather is the biggest news this week as the Pacific Northwest and the South were gripped in snow-and-ice storms leaving millions without power and water. Coach Laurie, Anna, and Claire discuss how people in Texas still need help with basic needs; if you’d like to help you can go to this website: LegacyCollective.org/relief. Anna feels the need to apologize for something that came up during our discussion of Britney Spears last week, but meanwhile there are more documentaries about Britney on the way! It’s been an incredible week for NASA as the Perseverance rover has landed on Mars to begin its search for microbial life in a multibillion-year-old Martian lake bed. And for the love of all that is Holy, if you take just one thing away from our podcast this week, it’s this: don’t put Gorilla Glue on your head!

You Know, Maybe You Really Did See Mommy Kissing Santa Claus!
Do you still hate Tom Brady, but maybe a little less than you used to? Do you still love Justin Timberlake, but maybe a little less than you used to? Join Coach Laurie, Anna D and Claire as we run the gamut from the Super Bowl (the Game! the Commercials, The Weeknd!) to the new Britney Spears documentary and whether famous women at their lowest points are treated less fairly than men. Plus, the latest on Coach Laurie’s journey through online dating - why she’s making a list and checking it twice!

If Paula Abdul Sees Her Shadow, What Do We Get For Six More Weeks
Claire is moving and has to do some serious downsizing of the possessions she’s been hauling around for years; Coach Laurie and Anna D help her decide what to keep and what to toss; like, what if all those Pokémon cards weren’t just a fad and are actually worth something?!?! Plus, Country Star Morgan Wallen once again finds himself in a public firestorm, but this time he may not be able to apologize his way out of it. At the same time, Country Star TJ Osborne has come out as gay in a Country Music world that is evolving. And the “Big Game” is this Sunday! Who are you rooting for? How will the much-anticipated ads be different this year? And hey, Weeknd, uhh, what’s with the Bandages?

If You See Something, Say Something
Just as the world has started to feel a bit calmer, we get a couple of reminders that, as humans, we will always need to have each other’s backs. This week Coach Laurie, Anna D and Claire talk about what the Department of Homeland Security wants us to do, and how a former Seahawk presented a shocking example of domestic violence. On the lighter front, Bachelorette Laurie has finally waded into the Online Dating Pool, but it seems that Pool has some algae...and maybe a few too many skinny dippers!

Brave Enough to Be the Light
It was an Inauguration Day very much different from those that came before it! Join Coach Laurie, Anna D and Claire for a roundtable of the speeches, the fashions, the masks, the visuals, the music (Gaga! Garth!), the cleaning guy, and the unforgettable poetry of Amanda Gorman. But why is Bernie Sanders today’s internet sensation?! And as is often the case, the Day led to nostalgia for the ladies, and a conversation about Claire’s Mom leads to a deep discussion on the impact of Mental Illness: how far we’ve come but how far we still have to go.
