Hello, little goblins. Resurrected from our year long slumber to haunt your ears once again, Listen With The Lights Off: A Radio Horrorshow awakens this Halloween night of the year 2022 to kick off our third season of delicious original horror. 
We are back to provide our annual antidote to the poisonous toxic positivity our fellow beloved troubled souls have endured since the last time we spoke. Ew! Scary!
I am your host, Jennifer D. Corley, and I’m also the Program Director of So Say We All, the San Diego-based arts and education nonprofit that makes this and so many other artistic adventures possible. I am thrilled to be ringing in this All Hallow’s Eve with a new radio play.
And we’re going to be delivering three more episodes across the month of November, because if any insufferable jerk can declare themselves worthy of not just a birthday, but of a “birthday month!”, we think the magic hours of Halloween should reign for at least sixty days. And besides, Thanksgiving is far more terrifying to most people than Halloween anyway, because families are real.
The story you’re about to hear is more satisfying than a pillowcase full of Snickers Bars and Reese’s Ghosts, but I want you to dig in and discover it for yourself. So let’s keep the spooky season going another month with this kickoff story titled, “Survivor,” by Sarah LaBrie.

A fallen talk radio personality with all the answers finds himself unraveling a mystery with the potential to unravel… everything.

Join us on Episode 5 of Listen With The Lights Off as two sisters dig up their past with disturbing results; and as a homeless veteran discovers only he has what it takes to bring order back to a collapsed, dystopian landscape.

In “The Gourd,” we meet Trevor, a strugglingly-sober Los Angeles native who gets roped into caring for his friends’ engorged garden while they enjoy a couples retreat in Paris. As pets in the neighborhood go missing, Trevor realizes that neither the zucchinis, nor the residents, are what they seem.

In today’s episode, we peek into the lives of two sisters who shared their mother’s womb, but not much else; and we dive into the deep end of terror with an investigator who has to interrogate a child about an unimaginable crime.

Listen With The Lights Off is a multimedia series that adapts horror stories published by So Say We All Press into new old time-y radio plays, with foley sound effects, original music, and the genius of professional actors. Originally premiering as part of the La Jolla Playhouse 2020 Digital Without Walls Series, Listen With The Lights Off brings the spooky to your ears, and let's be honest, they were begging to be haunted.
