We’re a group numbering in the thousands from more than 40 countries, all united by the impact of Anne Lister, honored as the first modern lesbian, even before that word existed in her time. The very personal impacts of Anne Lister’s legacy have united women in friendship, and sisterhood. There is so much to share, so much to chat about. Women, as we know, receive so much criticism on so many fronts and suffer from double standards that men rarely endure. Diana encourages us to reconsider piling on and instead consider the expansion of boundaries and enjoying the fun & fashion.     It's only been a year since Sharon was introduced to Gentleman Jack, and Anne & Ann's impact gave her the determination to visit England and Shibden Hall itself. Sharon fulfilled a life-long dream of visiting Buckingham Palace, and explored her new-found passion for 'Listering'. With her refusal to allow regret to limit her, Sharon has opened new horizons that emulate the best characteristics of Ann & Anne. To cap it off, she reclaimed her English roots and is now a proud dual UK/Australian citizen.
