Live Unhurried's 50th Episode: What are You Building?

Click here to send the host a message! Fifty episodes. Fifty opportunities to pause. And one question worth carrying forward: What are you building? In this milestone episode of Live Unhurried, Kat reflects on what 50 episodes have taught her about faithfulness, clarity, slow growth, and the difference between simply building a life and building one intentionally. Because we're all building something.  Our choices, habits, relationships, calendars, and attention are shaping the lives we're creating. But there's another question worth asking: What are you unintentionally making impossible? Kat shares four lessons that she's learned along the way: Consistency matters more than intensity. Sometimes faithfulness means pausing and beginning again.Clarity often comes while we're moving. We may not need the whole path—just the next faithful step. The things that matter most often grow slowly. Slow doesn't mean stagnant. What God is building in us matters more than the things we're building around us.As the episode closes, you're invited to carry three questions into your own season: What deserves my attention now? What am I building? What is God building in me? Choose one. Sit with it. Talk to God about it. And pay attention to what comes up. Deeper Reflection What am I unintentionally making impossible? Pause long enough to notice what your current choices may be crowding out—and what God may be inviting you to make room for. Thank you for being part of the first 50 episodes of Live Unhurried! Here's to continuing to choose what matters, remain faithful, and build a life we can actually live inside. Support the show

When Life Feels Slightly Out of Sync (Practical Rhythms Series)

Click here to send the host a message! There are moments when nothing is technically wrong…  and yet something feels slightly off. Not heavy.  Not chaotic.  Just… off. In this opening episode of the Practical Rhythms series, we begin by naming the subtle shifts that often go unnoticed—the early signs that your rhythm is no longer supporting your life in the way it once did. Because most of us don’t experience misalignment all at once.  We drift gradually...almost without realizing it. If you don’t recognize the early signals, it becomes difficult to know when something needs to shift. This episode creates space to notice what may already be present—without pressure to fix anything—so you can begin to move with greater clarity and intention. In this episode, we explore:  What it feels like when your rhythm starts to shift  How internal space becomes crowded  Why simple things can begin to feel heavier than they should  The subtle loss of clarity and discernment  What it means to feel slightly disconnected from your own life A Simple Practice for this Week At the end of each day, take a moment to ask yourself:  Where did I feel most present today?  Where did things feel slightly compressed? Ask without pressuring yourself to change anything.  Just notice. If you’ve been feeling:  Slightly off, but can’t explain why  Lacking mental capacity, even when your schedule isn’t overwhelming  Less present in your day-to-day life  Like you’re moving through things instead of fully experiencing them...this episode is for you. What’s next: In Part 2, we move from awareness to visibility—looking at what is actually filling your life and how that shapes your daily experience. Support the show
