    Stoic is what your body has been craving and I use it every day to stand on while I work at monkii HQ. #1 it feels REALLY GOOD to stand on. The floor here is smooth, hard concrete which couldn't be anymore unnatural. The way Stoic engages more muscles and creates more movement has virtually eliminated all my standing pain. In addition, I have a whole new level of energy when the workday is over and I head out on the trails or get into a solid monkii session. I've also noticed that my feet feel stronger and I recover way faster after crushing miles in the mountains.
    With exercise, but also in life, I believe that variety is extremely important. Stoic has over 50 setup options with a ton more on the way. This allows you to regularly vary the standing surface as well as to level up to more challenging standing environments.
    If you do any sort of prolonged standing, or, if you have been sitting and want to transition to a standing work setup, I highly recommend you get Stoic.

    Resistance and Finding the One Thing - Your Trigger Point for Action

    Hey monkiis,
    In this episode, I share some thoughts and fighting 'resistance' and finding the 'one thing' that sets you into motion. This is something that I had done somewhat intuitively over the years - especially in regard to physical training - and recently had the concept reinforced in the book Atomic Habits. This one thing or the trigger point is the single action that you take that sets into motion the cascade of events that lead you to do what you want to do. It's super simple and highly effective.
    Also referenced is Steven Pressfield's The War of Art and Do the Work. These are highly recommended reads for all monkiis.

    Reflecting on Happiness, Peace and Materialism.

    Hey monkiis,
    I had some thoughts pop into my mind over the weekend that I wanted to share with the monkii family. Essentially, we just moved into a new house and as awesome as it is...it is not as satisfying nor does it elicit the same level of peace as my bigger physical adventures. Let me also be clear, I'm very VERY grateful for what we have and I want to make sure this is understood. However, I have noticed more and more in the last ~5 years that material things actually bring me less "happiness" and satisfaction. The more life experience I get under my belt the more I realize what is important and for me, it's the following: 1) family, 2) friends, 3) health, and 4) adventure. These are the things that mean the most to me and lead me to feel peaceful and purposeful. Interestingly, you cannot buy any of these. Instead, they must be earned and respected if you want them to stick around.

    Micro-Misogi: The Diamond on Longs Peak

    Hey monkiis,
    On this episode I talk about a little 'Micro-Misogi' that went down for me this past Friday. I climbed a route on the Diamond which is a ~1,000 foot vertical wall on the east face of Longs Peak. It was really challenging me me and definitely pushed me beyond my limits. However, it was also very eye-opening and open my imagination to what might be possible. This company doesn’t do anything wrong. Their equipment is top rate, customer service is incredible, the app is perfect, and now I started listening to their podcast. The episodes are quick, informative, and enjoyable.

Great podcast to help you live wild!

Been a monkii for quite a while now. Fell in love with the monkii family and the elders are incredibly helpful and full of knowledge. Their products are top tier and this podcast is great to help get you thinking outside of the box and start thinking like a monkii! Monkii Dan is a great dude and knows his stuff. I have watched my dad use Monkii bars for awhile and even did some workouts with him. He gave me a set for Christmas and got me started on this podcast. I really enjoy hearing all of the information here and I am trying to learn everything I can. Thanks Monkii!
