Live Your Legacy

Miss-U-Gram

Live Your Legacy is a conversational podcast that explores how life’s defining moments shape the legacy we leave behind. Hosted by Patricia D. Freudenberg, also known as Patty from New York, the show features thoughtful conversations with entrepreneurs, authors, leaders, and creators who have turned adversity, reinvention, or unexpected life transitions into purpose-driven work. Through these conversations, the show examines an often overlooked truth: the grief that transforms us is not always the grief of death. Often, it is the grief we experience within life.

    Up, Up, and Away

Send us Fan Mail Patricia D. Freudenberg — known as Patty from New York — is a Certified Grief Consultant and the founder of Miss-U-Gram®, a unique service born from a deep understanding of grief in all its forms. In this solo episode of Live Your Legacy™, Patricia shares her latest Legacy Café article, "Up, Up, and Away." This reflective conversation explores the delicate balance between dreaming boldly and remaining grounded. Grief, fear, responsibility, and disappointment can sometimes keep us stuck on the runway, while unchecked ambition can carry us so far into possibility that we lose sight of the practical steps needed to move forward. Through personal reflection and thought-provoking questions, Patricia invites listeners to consider their current emotional altitude. Are you grounded in a healthy way, afraid to take off, flying without direction, or learning to balance vision with purpose? Imagination gives us lift. Our values keep us rooted. Reinvention & Motivation: Don't Let Your Age Be Your Cage

Send us Fan Mail Judith Colletti is a serial entrepreneur who has reinvented herself at every stage of life. Her guiding motto — "Don't let your age be your cage" — reflects a lifetime of choosing growth over stagnation and possibility over limitation. She believes deeply that we grow as we age and that every chapter holds the potential for transformation. Judith's story is woven from sorrow, loss, business, and family. She has come up from the ashes and risen like a phoenix, shaped by her faith, her community, and a hard-won love of self. It is that foundation — God, family, community, and self-love — that she credits with her ability to keep moving forward no matter what life has brought. Today Judith speaks her truth to inspire and motivate others who feel stuck, overlooked, or defined by their age or circumstances. She joins Live Your Legacy™ to share that reinvention is not reserved for the young — it is available to anyone willing to rise. "Don't let your age be your cage." Putting Yourself First — Healing From Trauma

Send us Fan Mail Teresa Phillips is a speaker, podcaster, and musician who draws on more than 40 years of trauma survival to help others reclaim their lives. Three years ago she developed The Framework Of The Self — a personal transformation system built on four pillars: self-love, self-respect, self-confidence, and self-appreciation. Teresa's journey began in early childhood and deepened five years ago when the death of her father triggered a complete unraveling. Losing everything — and herself — she heard an inner voice calling her to change. That turning point became the foundation of her framework. Today she has not had a panic attack in over three years, and describes herself as healthier, more grounded, and more authentic than ever. Through her speaking, podcast, and music, Teresa carries a simple but powerful message: if she can do this, so can others. She joins Live Your Legacy™ to share how putting yourself first is not selfish — it is the very act that makes healing possible. "If I can do this, so can others." Finding yourself in the Flames

Send us Fan Mail Shaun Free is a burn survivor who has transformed one of life's most devastating moments into a mission of purpose and service. On March 13, 2018, while working on a propane truck, a liquid propane leak caused an explosion that burned 46% of his body. Shaun experienced a near-death experience before waking up in the hospital — and that moment became the turning point of his life. Rather than allowing the flames to define him by what he lost, Shaun chose to let them reveal who he truly was. Today, he channels his resilience into motorcycle training as an instructor and volunteers with the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors and other burn survivor programs — giving back to a community that understands the long road of physical and emotional recovery. Shaun's story is a powerful testament to the human spirit's capacity to find meaning in the midst of devastation. He joins Live Your Legacy™ to share how he found himself — not despite the flames, but within them. "The flames didn't take my identity — they revealed it." Put Your Wallets Away and Raise Rich Kids

Send us Fan Mail Rosemary Olender is the author of Coffee and Wisdom: A Father's Legacy to Leading a Rich Life — a book born from a conversation she had with her father on his deathbed. When he apologized for leaving her with 'nothing,' pointing to his modest bank account, their small family home, and a used car, Rosemary gently corrected him. It was his non-material gifts — the values, presence, and wisdom he gave her and her sister — that made them two of the richest people they knew. That conversation became the foundation of a book that details 12 powerful gifts every parent can give their children, gifts that build resilience, independence, confidence, and lasting happiness. Through her 'Coffee and Wisdom Parenting Method,' Rosemary shows parents and educators how to strengthen their bonds with children and raise them to become grounded, successful human beings — not by spending more money, but by showing up with more presence. "The richest inheritance a parent can leave is not found in a bank account — it is found in the values they pass on." Enjoying the conversations on Live Your Legacy?
