    137. Being Truthful With Ourselves When The Ego Hides it

If you're a high-achiever who is constantly building, creating, and holding it all together for everyone else... drop your shoulders for a second. This episode is a soft place for you to be. How many times have you whispered, "I’ll rest after this project is done," while your body was quietly crying out for a break? Our ego is incredibly smart. It hides our exhaustion and burnout by disguising them as our greatest strengths, like "resilience" and "work ethic." It tricks us into believing we're always just one more achievement away from peace.  But is that actually true? In this episode, we look into the sacred mirror of truth: Satya, the yogic practice of truthfulness. We talk about how to catch the ego in the act, drop the heavy armour of "having it all together," and share a beautiful contemplation to help your soul take a deep sigh of relief. Plus, a simple ritual to reveal your truth. You don't have to burn yourself to the ground to prove your worth, you were born worthy, let that truth unfold who you truly are. Take a deep breath… and let’s connect within.   👉🏽 Ready to go deeper on your spiritual growth journey? Maybe you’re navigating a heavy season of life, a health challenge, the unpredictable shift of perimenopause, or simply the exhaustion of the "dual identity", wearing the "I’m fine" mask while feeling frustrated, irritable and not quite yourself underneath. But what if the most empowering action you could take was for your inner wellness instead of your to-do list? Inspired by Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re exploring the theme of ACTION. In this episode, I share my recent personal journey with finding my mojo and how I use the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to move from the paralysis of inaction back into my true self. In this episode, we explore: The Mojo Gap: A personal look at what I’ve been experiencing lately and how I navigate it. The 50/50 of Life: A vital reminder that stress and struggle are part of the human experience. The "Red Line": How to identify your specific boundaries before stress turns into burnout. The Antidote: Why intentional action is the quickest way to shift heavy feelings and circumstances. The Roadmap: 8 simple, actionable ways to reclaim your energy and find your mojo today. Your "Mojo" Guide Here are the eight thoughts I share in the episode. Listen in to discover the specific associated practice with each one: The Micro-Action: "Just do it." (If it takes 2 minutes, do it now.) The Thought Download: "I am thinking the thought that..." (Create distance from the noise.) The Boundary: "I honor my boundaries and my cycle." (Work with your body, not against it.) The Environment: "There are no limits outside." (Step out to open your mind.) The Connection: "Connecting with others fuels my soul." (Break the isolation with one small reach-out.) The Movement: "When I move my body, I move my mind." (Shift your physiology to shift your psychology.) The Lifeline: "Breathing is my lifeline." (Use your breath to reset your nervous system.) The Emotion: "I can handle this." (Allow yourself to feel the feelings so they can pass.) Ready to find your mojo again?
