EYE OPENING Information

This podcast is SO needed! Dr. George opens the veil behind how the insurance companies and the government think about and approach health care issues - often to our detriment. Dr. George is succinct, and she presents well thought out ideas and observations. I am so glad this information is being made available.
Patients and Physicians: PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELVES

As a recent MD graduate, this is the most important podcast I listen to. Dr. George shines us with her brilliance explaining the benefits of free market economics in healthcare, the devastating consequences of Obamacare, and even medical knowledge which should be mainstream (ex: statin drugs leading to heart failure d/t CoQ depletion…a essential mitochondrial enzyme needed for cell energy). Obamacare was written by big insurance and big pharma….not a single physician. Doctors are now fighting against bureaucratic politics to maintain the integrity, art, and science of practicing medicine for the sake of quality healthcare. Whether you are physician, student, other HC professional, or patient, I urge EVERYONE to catch up with past episodes to join Dr. George and her endless fight for our rights as physicians and patients. All of us are affected by this. Knowledge is power.
Beware political underpinnings

Unfortunately, this podcast wasn't a look at evidenced based medicine, but rather a diatribe against the government and regulation in medicine. That's perfectly fine, but it was thoroughly unconvincing to me.
