    Episode 12: What I Wish Someone Told Me About OCD Recovery (Faking It Till We Make It)

    This is the part when I'm so thrilled to share the parts of my recovery that there was no manual for and I had to trial and error it on my own. The beginning of the start of the best year of my life yet. Please let this be your guiding force if you are going through it and there are certain systems telling you that there is only one way to recover from ocd/ anxiety. \ Feeling so compelled to share because if I had not advocated for myself, trusted my instincts even when that felt muddy and switched things up, I probably wouldnt be this version of me here today. There are many different treatment forms (ERP,ICBT,ACT - often paired with meds but not necessary). NEVER stop advocating for yourself because that unique treatment fit is absolutely there. You got this, now get back to your beautiful life and keep doing it anyways xox

    Episode 11: "You'll Know When You've Had Enough" - The Trenches

    WE MADE IT TO THE TRENCHES BABY. For once in my life I'm not going to yap and yap and I'm going to let this heart-led episode speak for itself. Let me take you on a journey of what led up to the trenches, how I unknowingly kept myself there, and most importantly - how I rose out of them, conquered my mind and became the sticky brain baddie I am today. Genuinely NEVER thought I'd be on the other side of this when I was in it, speaking from lived experience and sharing my journey. Please know it gets SO much better and chronic does not mean constant. There is so much joy and relief on the other side of an ocd flare (even if it FEELS like it'll never end) - do not use this as reassurance but ***TRUSTTTTT** me on this one. This is a little pit stop in between the deeper dives. Not at all implying that recovery should be sped through, however - keeping it short, sweet and less analytical is key through sticky brain recovery.
