Living With an Invisible Learning Challenge

Have you ever wondered what it is like to live with an invisible learning disability? Well then step into my and other’s world of Living with Nonverbal Learning Disability (NLD). I want to provide a podcast for people with NLD or someone who knows someone who has it and wants to help improve their life. Awareness about NLD should be raised because the public needs to be more knowledgeable about it. This can be hard to do because it is one of the learning disabilities that someone can have without it being obvious.

Beauty In the Flaws ND (Part 1)

This is the first part to "Beauty in the Flaws of ND," this one has articles and my interpretation of them. I think these songs speak to the individuals who want to be our authentic selves but need encouragement or support from others sometimes. This is good and healthy to receive from family, friends, and loved ones in our lives. The Neurodivergent's Guide to Time

An insightful podcast episode redefines "wasted time" as a crucial act of mental autonomy, especially for those with neurodivergent minds. The host, Jennifer, connects this idea to her own experience with NVLD, explaining how structured "pause time" is essential for recharging and creative thinking. By balancing productivity tools with intentional rest, individuals can reclaim their time from hustle culture and live a more meaningful life without guilt. 🔗 Referenced Articles & Resources: Medium: "How Wasting Time Teaches the Importance of Mental Autonomy" by Stephan JoppichJenny Odell: How to Do Nothing bookThe NVLD Project: "Time Management Tips for Individuals with NVLD"Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities: "Time Management Strategies for Students with LD"Behaviour Matters: "Understanding Nonverbal Learning Disability" Link for Multi-LDs: https://www.livingwithmultilearningdifferences.net/multi-lds. Etsy shop: https://wovendifferently.etsy.com.
