One of the most frequent questions I get asked is, how did it get I started in podcasting and why?

It actually started out as an accident. I was part of a media training group, and one of the topics they taught us was podcasting.

In 2018 I joined the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce. What I learned is behind every local business is a great story.
But they were wondering how to connect their local business with their community.

In June of 2018, I launched Local First Podcast.
The podcast just has taken off from there. My mission continues to share the stories of local businesses.

I especially enjoy meeting with local business owners and interviewing them and learning their stories. It literally took off from there.

The more interviews I produced with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders, the more I uncovered.

I needed to share their stories.

Local First Podcast connects local businesses to their community.

    · The ICA piece has a good chart starting on page 11. Discusses how moments in history seem so huge at the time, but when put into perspective, are really smaller than they appear at first. I’d look at this chart just in our lifetime – look what has happened and how it dominated the news (just like today) and where we have come since.

Something Special In Everyone With Nate Sroor

Something Special In Everyone With Nate Sroor

Nathan Sroor is the current Sales/Business Development Lead at Interflight Parking (https://www.interflightparking.com/) , which manages and maintains all of the on-sight parking at MKE airport.

While still in high school, Nathan began with Interflight, working a full-time role at the inception of its valet service, where he was recognized by upper-level management for his hard work ethic and outspoken nature.

Feeling his skills could benefit the company in a bigger role, the Executive Vice President gave Nathan an opportunity of a lifetime.

Fast forward through high school graduation and to the following Monday, where Nathan’s first day in the corporate world began.

After a few months of working Corporate Sales, the company realized that the management of the valet service was seriously lacking and who better to run it than the employee who had been there since day one!

In addition to his sales and marketing efforts, Nathan now also manages MKE Valet. In less than a year of his efforts, the average inventory count has nearly tripled and revenue has increased over 80%.

Though he bypassed higher education to gain valuable work experience, Nathan is still is an avid learner and plans on perusing his real estate license this Spring.

    Nate's key take-aways

    365 days of depression

    Something special in everyone

    Strong work ethics needed

    The Grind

    The mirror doesn't lie

    Personal finance education

My other business ventures are where I test and try stuff out…

And my Facebook Group (Chiropractic Marketing Secrets) is where I share what I’ve learned (with my favorite group of people to work with :-) )

My goal is always to give away better stuff for FREE than what other people charge for...
