Come out to the Alternative Education Showcase on April 1st from 2pm-4pm at Jupiter Farms Church, in Jupiter, Florida. The goal of the Alternative Education Showcase is to provide a free event for those seeking alternative schooling options in Palm Beach County. Vendors include, Acton Academy Palm Beach, Bliss Academy- Alternative Education, Brain Balance of Palm Beach Gardens, Classical Conversations, Compass Outreach and Education Center, Engage Education, Florida Virtual School, FPEA (Florida Parent Educators Association), Living Learning Libraries, Maslowe Academic Zone, Microschool Florida / Tapestry Academy, PEC, Saltwater Studies, Inc., Underground Education with Sam Sorbo, Veritas Florida, plus many more! This year we are also featuring four speaking session during the showcase. Jennifer Ferrita, a Homeschool Enrollment Evaluator will be speaking on homeschooling enrollment through evaluation, how to have a successful year. Michelle Howard, with the Living Learning Libraries will be presenting on a fresh and strengthening vision of education. Candace Lehenbauer, with Microschool Florida/Tapestry Academy will be speaking on microschooling in South Florida. Giovana Cavarretta, with Get Homeschool Coaching will be presenting on homeschooling high school simplified. This is a fun, kid friendly event, for the whole family with bounce houses, food truck, snow cones, popcorn and a wildlife encounter.
