    HI WELCOME TO LOCAL RIFFS! in this episode we get a call in from killer thrash/heavy metal/hard rock band from Lafayette,La, Inner Anguish. covering the origins of the name, inspirations for the music, and upcoming plans for the band. we get into everything that makes this band operate. we touch on the meaning of and where the idea for the name of the band came from, and to be honest it kinda hit home for me, as I can totally relate. it was great talking with Taylor (vocals) and Ben (guitars) some real good dude sorry the rest of the band couldn't be on, but maybe next time. def a new twist on something that everyone is familiar with these guys really rock! thanks again for being on and chopping it up! got plenty of laughs and lots of info on upcoming things for the band. check out their new single sin and bleed out on all platforms... thanks again!!!     ROUND 2 in this episode we have trigger therapy back on with some new music, new band mate, new drive... but the same IN YOUR FUCKING FACE punk rock attitude that doesn't stand for the political bullshit that the norm seems to be use to. we really get down in the guts of with their single blood and flour. we chat about new music video, new member in the band, some big show announcements and the direction that the band is headed. it is always great to chat with the peeps . joined by glimpse a very great friend of the band and an awesome singer song writer in her own right. and an awesome supporter of local riffs. really awesome episode. we really get down to the nut cut. if you can handle the truth than I suggest u listen till the end.. thank you as always...     always switching it up. in this episode with have wasted potency from New Orleans,La. in the studio. being joined by the mohawk, levy beall. we just run it with WayPo about new music and have some laughs. we talk about what has been some inspiration behind some of this unique type of hip hop pop kinda emopop/antipop/hyperpop style of music. really it is truly original and always staying true to his style.. . going down the rabbit hole of what is going on in the city and talk about how WayPo is trying to bring this style to the masses. really just a great chat with great people. check out all wasted potency's newest music and other alias putting out some jams. gotta listen to find out....     BOOM EP.25 OF S:2. in this episode we do our second time around with blood and earl of New Orleans,La. we went to the headquarters of the band and really got down into some scene hoping and history of where the music from these local bad boys comes from. joined by all members in a awesome interview, we talk new music, new shows and some new videos. YES I am late by like a few months on putting this episode out but better late than never. the YouTube video has been up incase u was wondering. but all and all this was a great interview. these guys are very cool and I hold them to be very good friends of mine. check out the YouTube video for a live look at these guys at the jam spot. thank you for the love and plenty of shout outs to go around....     LOCAL RIFFS S:2 E.24

    In this episode we are joined by our close friend and part of the local riffs team via way of St.Petersburg, Fl djkinz. A very prominent dj with a multitude of genere styles, from the south Florida area. joined by other well known djs not only in the area but nationally and world wide, shout out to the man the myth the legend Empire X. Known for his dark and chaotic drum and bass that has been being heard for decades now! Along with two very great versatile djs AnnGree (drum and bass, techno, house) and dj bellicossii (hip-hop, house, techno) as week as our friend Roman (drum and bass) we chat via call in and this is a good one. We talk about the upcoming birthday bash , equinox 2.0, (we were there in S:1 EP.23 at equinox 1.0 last year) happy birthday Derrick!!! we chat about these heavy hitters inspiration what drives them to keep up the hard work in the edm scene. Also what preserves the longevity for them to keep relevant and the music fresh as technology seems to take over the analog state of the culture. We got some good laughs and this was our first time having a call in with this many lines active but wow it is a great show! With great tunes playing throughout. We love ya homies!!!     LOCAL RIFFS S:2 EP.23

    in this episode we have mars and other planets in studio. hailing from New Orleans, la, this very versatile group ties a lot of the folk kinda indie type edge with beautiful guitar playing and tight drum beats with angelic vocals that cut thru to be heard from the roof tops. got a chance to see this great unique band live at the goat in New Orleans not long ago, and let me say WOWZERS. we chat about how they come up with this unique style and what drives them to bring the music to light. they have a lot of great tones and talent that really highlights the hard work they put into the music. here at local riffs we love originality, mars and other planets definitely delivers on that. with a new music video coming out soon they are excited to keep the ball rolling on their music to be heard everywhere. great time with some laughs and we really dive into some local inspirations and the process of how they get things done. I have to say that this was a very great interview and really can not wait to see them live again. thanks again for showing interest and thank you for coming on to show to sit and chat, check out all their music on all platforms. you will not regret it....     LOCAL RIFFS S:2 EP.22

    brax is back and in this episode we are spreading the rot. referenceing from the previous episode with swampbane. these guys bring their unique sound of southern cloud rap on the road. starting with their first stop with a stacked bill on brax's 18th birthday party. wow... how far has brax came since the last interview in season one. been on tour and done shows as far as out to cali and hit the whole Florida panhandle and back. we talk new music new inspirations and new chapters in life and new beginnings for this young artist. its always great having brax in studio. go check out all the new jams on all platforms.
