During the original broadcasts, I was in college. Friends watched together, we debated clues and wondered about the deeper meaning of every little thing. From Saturday Night Live to Sesame Street, Twin Peaks was in the air. Years and decades later, when new viewers want to have the richest experience of the show, they have to re-generate for themselves the sense of excitement across the popular media; the slow unfolding of mysteries over many months; and the shared act of interpreting the Twin Peaks tapestry.
Alicia and Jane are on the adventure, taking the Grand Tour. I know this is true, because the Log Ladies Podcast reminds me of listening to my friends back in 1990.
