The researchers say that the Arabian Peninsula before the advent of Islam was a group of tribes that are not governed by any authority except the tribal tradition, which differs in turn, from one tribe to another. And with the multiplicity of tribes, many heroes arose, those who converted after their death to holy ancestors and their grandchildren gave them statues and mihrabs to seek their help, whenever they suffered a calamity, and for those righteous ancestors, the houses of worship were established and ways of approaching the gods or ancestors began. And then the number of gods and heroes multiplied, as a result, the houses of worship such as the Ka’aba multiplied as well. (Mihrab: a niche in the wall of a mosque, at the point nearest to Mecca, toward which the congregation faces to pray)

    Episode 01 - Before the advent of Islam

    Before the advent of Islam, the Arabian Peninsula was living in a nomadic environment and a tribal system. This era was called the era of ‘Jahiliyah’ or the era of ignorance by Islam, where they considered Polytheism to be ignorant because Islam was not among them. It’s a strange base that has no logic. Logos in particular is an (appeal to logic) or, is a way of persuading an audience with reason, using facts and figures.
