Awesome way to stay in the know as a Catholic!
Love this show! It is the easiest way for me to stay in the know while not having to be glued to my phone/tv AND with peace of mind knowing their perspective of coverage aligns with my morals and values! Be warned, sometimes these cohosts dig deep and name call political figures. Me personally, I’m not a fan of that. They also have the typical “news commentator” problems of constantly interrupting one another, sometimes making it unlistenable to the point where I just skip ahead. Overall though, these are the tiniest of qualms I have with the show - don’t let these deter you, rather just know them going in and I think you’ll love the show too!

Longtime Loop reader and I finally gave the podcast a try and I’m so glad I did! They cover all the news I’m interested in from US to world and Catholic issues. Love getting an authentic Catholic perspective on all the big stories. Tom, Erika, and Josh have great co-host chemistry, and it’s a very fun listen. Frequent lol moments. Try it out.
Josh and Opening/closing Prayer
I’m rating three stars. I love the content and perspective.
However- the show is Josh. Josh interrupting. Josh snark. Josh with uncharitable comments. I respect his opinions but seriously- he needs to be moderated. No one else gets a word in. And he’s extremely arrogant.
The show could use a dose of opening prayer. I know it’s a political show but it’s also a Catholic one. It would be awesome if they opened with prayer and closed with prayer (not just a Saint invocation). It would put things into perspective. After all, there is no such thing as utopia in this world.
