15 | How to Study the Word of God Using Prayer Journaling

📖 Let Us be Women Of The Word In this episode Jenise breaks down how to study the word of Yah using prayer journaling. Use these tips to help you go deeper in your bible study time and truly become a woman of the word of God! The main usage for my prayer journal during bible study is to take notes. Prayer journaling helps me start the conversation with Yah and when He speaks back through His word taking notes helps me receive and understand His word. 📝Note Taking Categories ✔️Notes for understanding: * Words I don’t know * Names and their meaning * Important events and details * Things I want to go back to ✔️Notes for Memorization, Reflection & Prayer: * Memorizing verses for affirmation and encouragement: Affirmations are a new age practice and are not founded in the word of Yah. * Memorize or recite in my prayers: Scripture Reference So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 * Important events * Key people ✔️Notes for Revelation: * Anything The Most High impresses on me to dig deeper into ✔️Notes for Discovery: * Learning Yah’s character, culture, and desires. I don’t always read to confirm, I read to learn. Bible Study Methods: * S.O.A.P. (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer) * Verse-Mapping Method: Involves writing out a verse, finding different translations, researching word meanings, and summarizing the message. * Devotional Method: Focuses on reading a short passage, meditating on it, and allowing it to touch the heart. * Character Study Method: Researching a specific biblical person’s life, characteristics, and key events. * Topical Study Method: Searching for bible verses on a specific subject, such as love, faith, or forgiveness. * Book-by-Book Method: Studying an entire book of the Bible to understand its context, outline, and theme * R.E.A.P ( Read, Examine, Apply, and Pray Mentioned In this episode: * Use Code PODCAST for 15% OFF your prayer journal purchase on my website! www.lovedonewrite.com * Donate * Join The Community - The Intercessor’s Circle * Shop Prayer Journals + Prompts Get full access to Love Done Write at lovedonewrite.substack.com/subscribe

14 | How Prayer Journaling Taught Me to Trust God (Even When It Was Hard)

🙌🏾 Serving Yah is a Journey of FAITH! In this episode I am sharing with you the importance of building up your trust in God through prayer journaling. Trust is the FOUNDATION of our relationship with God and we must be vigilant about building and maintaining it. What is Trust? Trust is firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. What is Faith? Faith is complete trust, confidence, or firm belief in something, often without tangible proof. Scripture References: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:26-31 KJV A few notes about Trust/Faith: * Faith is belief in action - Because you believe you do something or you become something. 11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you. 13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 2 Corinthians 4:13 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - Hebrews 11:1 * Faith is a muscle that needs to be exercised: 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:13-15 & 17 How Prayer Journaling Taught Me to Trust God (Even When It Was Hard) * It gave me a tangible place to go and spend time with the intangible God. * It keeps Yah’s track record of answered prayers * It invokes bible study, giving me answers to questions, changing my perspective, and reminding me of His power - His word is actively writes back to me. 12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [b]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [c]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. 12 | Understanding Biblical Femininity: Applying The W.A.R. Like A Woman Framework

💁🏾‍♀️What exactly is Biblical Femininity? Biblical femininity is the basis for how we respond to life as women of Yah. It is the foundation of our behaviors, ideas, and attributes. In this episode I will share a clear explanation of biblical femininity and a framework on how to apply it to your life. 💕Biblical femininity explained: PART #1: UNDERSTANDING and ACCEPTING Yah’s hierarchy of authority according to 1 Corinthians 11:3. AUTHORITY CONSISTS OF RESPONSIBILITY PART #2: Embracing YOUR RIGHT to be loved, cherished, cared for, and guided by Man (and obviously God!) according to Ephesians 5:21-33 Fully understanding biblical femininity is recognizing that your strength as a woman of Yah is NOT in your dominance but in your influence. Applying the W.A.R. Like A Woman Framework: * a supporting structure around which something can be built * a system of rules, ideas, or beliefs that is used to plan or decide something: WAIL: 1: TO EXPRESS SORROW AUDIBLY : LAMENT 2: TO MAKE A SOUND SUGGESTIVE OF A MOURNFUL CRY 3: TO EXPRESS DISSATISFACTION PLAINTIVELY : COMPLAIN Have radically honest conversations with God, Beseeching heaven for clarity, understanding, instruction, and perspective shift. AND WAITING WITH EXPECTATION, A RESPONSE! ADJUST: TO REDUCE TO A SYSTEM : REGULATE Responding in faith and obedience to whatever Yah tells or shows you. REFRESH: TO RESTORE OR MAINTAIN BY RENEWING SUPPLY : REPLENISH Accept that Yah is working it out for your good as you adjust to His system. PRIVATE REFRESHING: Use your “Happy List” to go do something nice for yourself or something you enjoy. AKA self-care PUBLIC REFRESHING: Share your testimony! And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. 11 | The TRUTH About Living A Soft Life

💅🏾 Are you living a soft life? The world has been buzzing about soft living the past couple of years, and as a woman of Yah it’s my duty to examine the narratives being pushed in front of me. In this episode I take a look at what exactly a “soft life” entails through a biblical lense. ☝🏾The TRUTH About Living A Soft Life * Adopt the Bible’s version of Femininity: is understanding that you are not your own, and that you answer to authority (the man and Yah). This is not just about you submitting but it’s also about the fact that you have the right to be covered, cherished, protected and cared for by the man. * 1 Corinthians 11:3 gives us a hierarchy of authority 1 Corinthians 11: 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. * Ephesians 5:21-33 speaks about submission as being a characteristic of both women and men. V. 22 speaks directly to the woman but v. 23-29 speak in details directly to the man. V. 30-33 speak to both again. Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. * A soft life takes hard work: You are going to go through things that challenge your faith, and how you respond makes all the difference. * Soft is subjective: My version of a soft life may not look like yours and that’s FINE. Philippians 4:11-13 - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 10 | DHF: I’m tired and overwhelmed | 3 things you need to pray for when you’re chronically tired & overwhelmed

✍🏾💕 Dear Heavenly Father…. I’m emotionally SPENT! How do you practically process your feelings? To many women are NOT intentionally processing their emotions and it’s starting to SHOW UP! It’s showing up in your weight, your skin, your hair, your conversation, your happiness 😭. It’s time to make some changes ladies! 🙏🏾What to pray for when you’re chronically tired & overwhelmed: * Pray for Awareness: Feeling chronically overwhelmed and tired is a byproduct of being in survival mode. Pray for self awareness (What do you do when you’re tired? How do you respond) Are you fighting through the stress, are you simply avoiding it, or are you just stuck in a haze of hopelessness? * Pray for discernment in hearing His voice: TMH is always talking but when we are chronically tired & overwhelmed we are not able to hear His voice. Remember He speaks to us in dreams so don’t dismiss your dreams. Scripture reference: JOB 33:14-17 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. * Pray for the courage to take action: Taking action is HARD because it forces you to be responsible for what you may have done wrong, it cause you to set boundaries or cut people off, it causes you to MAKE NEW CHOICES and for some that can be scary and HARD! Listen here 👇🏾 This week I am sharing the rest of the story, my reflections, and an update on where I am and how I’m doing now. Survival mode is a space that many find themselves in, and as with every experience they come to teach us something. But what happens when you become comfortable in survival mode? 🤔 Well…. If you can’t seem to shake the survival mode of moving through life I am a living testimony that YAH WILL MOVE YOU! ❤️‍🩹 Lessons & Reflections * Let go of what no longer serves you. * Rest is a COMMAND not a suggestion. * Yah uses affliction for redirection and correction. * Job: Yah used his affliction to reveal Himself to Job in a whole new way * Jonah: Yah used his affliction (being trapped inside a fish) to redirect him back to his assignment. * Yah has a gentler touch with women. * He’ll be with you through the flood and fire; And after correction then comes refreshing. Reflection Scriptures: * Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8 * Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. 1 Peter 3:7 AMP * (Laws on the menstruation process for women) Leviticus 15 * (Laws for protecting wives that have been put away) Exodus 21 Mentioned in this episode: * Join me for Reflect & Reset: 3 Day Digital Retreat - March 25th - 27th * Sign up to be beta readers for my new children’s book, When Yah Wants A Child: https://forms.gle/trows5qr8ZvAUTry5 * Support The Ministry * The Intercessor’s Circle * LoveDoneWrite - Shop Prayer Journals + Prompts Get full access to Love Done Write at lovedonewrite.substack.com/subscribe
