Ep. 28 - Keep an Open Mind

How open is your mind, really?  Sometimes even the most "open-minded" of us can find ourselves stuck in an old story, or blocking ourselves from receiving support, answers, or divine guidance.  In this solo episode of Love Space, host Aryn Love discusses the importance of having an open mind and being receptive to spiritual guidance.   Aryn also explores the concept of finding inspiration and wisdom in unexpected sources, such as listening to people we may not initially consider "wise" enough to learn from, emphasizes the value of approaching life with a beginner's mind and letting go of preconceived notions.  Finally, Aryn shares some insights on releasing our attachment to expectations and encourages listeners to embrace the beauty of unexpected twists and turns in life.  This episode explores: the importance of keeping an open mindfinding inspiration and wisdom in unexpected sourcesthe value of a beginner's mind being open to guidanceletting go of preconceived notionslearning to collaborate instead of dominate our partners and friendsletting go of old stories that keep us stuckreleasing expectations and letting ourselves be surprisedthe parable of the drowning manhow Creator can work through others to help usthe spiritual practice of "Two Way Prayer"the importance of deep listeningmaking space to receive divine inspiration and guidancePlease follow, subscribe, rate, and review the show -- or better yet, share this episode with someone you love.  You can connect with us on Instagram @aryn.love @lovespacepodcast or send Aryn an email with suggestions for future episodes at itsarynlove@gmail.com.  Thank you for sharing the love.  XX

Ep. 23 - Trust the Unfolding - with Avá-Joy Sloan

Join us as we examine the (not-so-radical) notion that if we plan less, and live more freely in the present moment, our lives will unfold in the most beautiful ways -- without the need to force specific outcomes.   We explored:  the frequency of human emotions, also known as the "map of consciousness" - and the work of Dr. David Hawkinshow you can manifest anything you truly desire for your life, the energetics of this post-internet era, and how things continue to change more rapidly than ever, loving yourself exactly where you are, how you can experience more peace and acceptance, and where to begin...With a background in psychology, a master's in creative and experiential arts therapy and trained as a psychedelic-assisted therapist, Australian-born Avá-Joy Sloan self-describes as a meditation teacher with a passion for dancing and poetry. In 2017, Avá founded Laprana– an integrative, experiential companioning practice supporting individuals in opening into the infinite present moment, to discover for themselves, the sacredness of all of life. With a home base in Melbourne Australia, Avá is currently living a nomadic life, companioning individuals around the world to connect to the present moment through the innate medicine of the natural world in combination with contemplative, creative, and experiential forms of self-inquiry.  Avá sees a future where exploration into the depths of one's own being is the norm, taught and understood from an early age. Until then, Ava plans to continue companioning individuals to fearlessly break beyond self & societally imposed illusions and limitations of mind to find a greater sense of purpose, joy and lasting inner peace. You can read Ava's poetry, find her latest offerings and connect with her for 1:1 online sessions via her website www.laprana.com.au.
