Seeing them from God’s perspective, you, dear listener, can see yourself as He sees you: loved, restored, redeemed. But if there’s a loving God, why did I experience hurt, trauma, mistreatment? But if there’s a loving God, why wouldn’t I be able to receive healing, care and grace? Let’s rewind the scenarios and see what He has to say about them, about you.     10 - Our fight - SELAH

    Do you know now who are you battling with? What are you anxious about? Where is the root of that fear? What are your everyday fights about? Are you mad at the person who you are arguing with, or do you stop for a minute and address the real enemy in the room? In this episode we are going to dig deep into our everyday battles with a changed perspective. As I always encourage you to rewind the scenarios in your life and examine them in the light of God’s word, so will we go around this topic. Because God is not surprised by our struggles and He is ready to help us through them. But we need to identify each struggle wisely so we know who or what we are battling with.     Life has so many things that we can not control that could fill us with anxiety and worry 24/7. And they are keep coming. Like they just birth from each other. “One can not control anything that comes in one’s way, but one can control one’s response to it. “ Come with me to a journey where we can learn to tame our mind by asking God to help to deal with our anxiety. Because He can and He is willing to help. His love is enough for all of us, for every situation. I pray you will see, how amazing His plan is for you, too. And in that plan, He, love Himself is in the centre, and we know from him, that perfect love casts out fear.     7 - Being a wife - LIFE MATTERS

    What I’m going to share with you is not an example you should follow by any means except the part that I was constantly relying on God’s declarations and guidance. That is what helped me through it and that is why I am so strong in my faith in God as I am now. Because our journey with my husband was full of red flags about why I shouldn’t pursue a relationship with him on the first place, not to mention marrying him. In this episode I call you on a journey about how I got prepared by God to be a wife and how that preparation process helped me to navigate in marriage so far. My prayer is that this episode will help you to pursue a godly relationship in your marriage. Not because I think I have perfected to be a wife, but because I have a story from which you can learn a lot what to do and what not to do to become and stay one.     6 - Who I am - SELAH

    Who am I? you ask. You are God’s chosen one. Let Him reveal that to you what does it mean to be chosen by Him, the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth. In this episode let’s tune into God’s heart and seek His truth about how she sees us by letting go things, thoughts, comments what are lies and attacks on our lives. Make this an intentional pause in your busy life to reconnect with the One who has created you.     5 - Being a daughter - LIFE MATTERS

    We’re human beings and not human doings. How do you introduce yourself? What do you say who you are? In the first half of the year I will discuss topics of who we are. Who we are in Christ, and from that identity who we are as individuals. Not knowing ourselves is a pandemic that has started hundreds, if not thousands of years ago and it still actively has its victims despite of all the self awareness teachings and the cultural change or shift towards seeking psychological help to deal with our traumas and getting to know why we’ve acted the way we’ve acted. The reason why I find this so important to talk about this is that we don’t necessarily know why we don’t we know ourselves. In this episode I will discuss our first and most important characteristic of our identity: being a child of God. Or in my perspective, being a daughter of the Almighty. And I leave you two questions to study this further, so you would have your own understanding about this. I only can share my story and as I am no expert in my life, neither am I in yours, but I do know the perfect one who would answer these questions for you, if you let Him, if you trust Him. So ask God: What are the lies what I have believed about myself as your daughter/son? What is your truth about those, about me?     Life can be difficult in so many levels and the only thing what can help us through, is to know that we are not alone until it gets better. Yes, we might have people around us who help us, but there are times when we can not count on anybody. Anybody, but God! Come and join me while I open up the Bible at the most encouraging part and share with you what God has declared over me and my life when I thought I was alone. Why would that be interesting for you? Well, my dear listener, because those promises and encouragements are for you, too. Let Him win over the battle in your mind and let Him love you through your struggles. Just trust Him that He can and will handle it with care and love and grace. Because His love towards you never changes. He can not deny himself, no matter how far gone you think you are from Him. He will always be just right behind you, or before you, or beside you. This is how deeply He wants you to see yourself as He sees you: loved, restored and redeemed.

    1 - I’m sorry - LIFE MATTERS

    This opening episode is about digging deeper and discussing the purpose of this podcast. My main reason to start this ministry was to help you getting to know God’s heart towards humanity. Towards you, too. Being a Christian in this day and age is more difficult than ever before. When values are constantly shifting or questioned, it is inevitable that we all get hurt. Even at church, even by our brothers or sisters in the Lord. But there is help and there is grace for all of us in every circumstances. Because God is the ultimate Judge and He is especially fond of all of us. So listen to this episode with an open heart, because what if He wants to tell you something what you have never heard about yourself before.     Hello and welcome to Loving Rewind Podcast where it’s okay not to be okay. My name is Emese Mérey, Em for short, and I’m going to be your host. In this Podcast I intend to rewind the conversations and situations what hurt you as you were seeking God in a community. I want you to see them from God’s perspective, so you can see yourself as He sees you: loved, restored, redeemed. Families, friends, workplaces, churches, life groups, ministries or missions, we must not oversee the fact that hurt can happen in any or all of them. But God can heal it! Many would say: if there’s a loving God why did I experience hurt, trauma, mistreatment on the first place? Let’s rewind that statement also: if there’s a loving God, why wouldn’t I be able to experience healing, care and grace in every circumstance?
