Lowering the Barrier
There is SO much information on fitness and nutrition out there - and I get it - did we really need ANOTHER guy making a podcast? I hear ya. But here's the thing - most of the fitness/nutrition information out there is just noise. The average person who wants to get in shape doesn't need more noise - they need clarity. They need it to be easier. They need a lower barrier to entry. And that's what this podcast is - an attempt to lower the barrier to fitness.

I’ve been really enjoying this fun and educational science based podcast. Alex and Matti go into great details about the topics covered. I love the conversations between the two of them and their sense of humor. I especially love how Matti adds her tips and tricks and experience as well. Thank you for a great podcast! Keep it up!

Not only is Alex great at backing up healthy lifestyle tips with research and no gimmicks but he provides the easiest and cheapest way to properly and effectively lift weights at home or gym with his A Team Program. Love this podcast with his wife who adds a great female perspective too. You two are adorable! Can’t wait for the next episode!

I would like to share my positive experience with this trainer who has greatly enhanced my physical strength, even at the age of 51. Prior to working with Alex, I had never set foot in a weight room. However, I can confidently state that now I cannot imagine my fitness routine without it. Alex possesses a remarkable ability to break down workouts into easily comprehensible movements, making them accessible to individuals of average fitness levels. I’m 183 workouts in now and so happy!! Looking forward to this podcast. There are a lot of fitness podcast but I am sure this will be real life tips and no tricks.

Alex has been the single biggest motivator in improving my health over the last year. (Don’t tell my PCP!) This podcast is true to its name, and Alex’s ethos: You don’t have to get everything just right in order to get the body of your dreams. Anyone can take steps toward better health, and there are no SECRETS. But Alex and Matti are helping to demystify the fitness world, and I, for one, will be listening to every episode!
