What happens to your faith when the lights go out? 💡🌪️

In this special third session of our 'Unstoppable Acts' series, Pastor Tom Roepke sits down with Steven Montgomery and Devin McIntosh to discuss their transformative experience during the Walk to Emmaus (March 12-15, 2026). The weekend was anything but 'controlled.' At 2:00 PM on Friday, 50mph winds knocked out the power, leaving the group in a literal blackout until Sunday afternoon. But as we’ve learned in this series, the Holy Spirit’s Transformation Power (Dunamis) doesn't need a power grid to work. In today's message, we explore: The Artemis III Parallel: Moving from just 'orbiting' our faith to actually landing and walking on the surface. Trust in the Dark: How Steven and Devin navigated spiritual warfare, financial stress (that car payment!), and the silence of a blackout. The 'Take Two' Grace: Hear the story of how our first recording was lost to an error message, and why the 'reset' led to an even deeper testimony. The Emmaus Road (Luke 24): Why Jesus often meets us when we are 'downcast' and walking away, rather than when we have it all together. Seven weeks later, the 'retreat high' hasn't faded. Instead, it has turned into 'unwavering gratitude.' Join us as we bridge the gap between the ancient Road to Emmaus and the modern mission of being a witness in 2026. Connect With Us: If you are feeling 'directionally challenged' or sitting in a blackout of your own, we want to pray with you. Reach out in the comments or visit our website. Next Week: Don't miss the series finale—Week 4: The Responsibility to Share. We’re moving from the 'pews' to the 'pavement' as we learn how to share our own 'Before, During, and After' stories. #UnstoppableActs #WalkToEmmaus #ArtemisIII #FaithInTheDark #Testimony #HolySpirit #Luke24" Worship Notes on YouVersion: http://bible.com/events/49598689 NEW HERE? When the Lights Go Out: Finding Your Edge at the Jordan

Have you ever felt like you were just "swinging the handle"? You’re going through the motions—parenting, working, even serving at church—but the "bite" is gone. The power is out. The edge is at the bottom of the river. The Message: In our Elisha Series finale, we dive into one of the most unusual miracles in the Bible: the floating ax head. But this isn't just ancient history. This past month, during the Heart of Ohio Men’s Emmaus Walk, we lived this story. On Friday afternoon, the power went out at the camp. With 12 talks left and two days of darkness ahead, we had to face a hard truth: Many of us have been living in a spiritual blackout for years. In this broadcast, we explore: The Diagnostic Question: Elisha doesn't ask "Why?" He asks "Where?" The Friday Blackout: What to do when the "machinery" of your life stops working. The 3:30 Miracle: Why God’s restoration often comes just an hour before the deadline. The Participation Principle: God makes it float, but you have to lift it out. Watch now to discover how the "Wood of the Cross" defies the spiritual gravity of your past.   Action Step: Are you ready to stop swinging a broken handle? Type "LIFT IT OUT" in the comments if you’re claiming your restoration today!
