Insanely difficult topics, tackled honestly and beautifully

Wow--Lucy and Annabel, I am blown away by the stories you've told and the (unexpected!) direction this podcast has gone, but it is so wonderful, and so needed. I've been following along on your emotional journey the past several weeks and grieving along with you and while it hurts, yes--I think you are coming to this understanding, Annabel--YOU ARE A GIFT, and your sharing of your experience with us is a gift, and I hope it will continue to be so, and that you can hold that knowledge close when the lights are dimmed. Your discussions have opened up a lot of dialogues within myself, and simply allowing us to share in this emotional space with you is more healing than you may know. Thank you for being so real and, as Lucy eloquently put it, reconnecting us to the "river" of human experience. In dark and uncertain times you strive to elevate yourselves--something we could all stand to do more of. Looking forward to listening as long as you desire to speak.

Honest. Brave. Needed.

Thanks for your latest episode and I’m so sorry for your losses. Annabel, your honest recollection of how it feels to move through the initial knowledge that someone you love has died tragically was right on and must’ve been hard to put to words so soon. I know it well, and while painful to revisit those emotions, there’s something so healing in hearing it. Knowing that we are not alone in this world always makes a difference. Thanks for sharing your heart. We need more of that! Can’t wait to catch up on the rest of your episodes and hear what’s next for you both.
