    94: The King's Code with Mikaal Bates

    Welcome to Lunacy; where we discern the sacred from the insane and admit that whether we like it or not, we are all profoundly affected by the cycles of the moon. Today on LUNACY, I interview my brother Mikaal Bates.  Bates is a leader in "The King's Code", a men's initiatory path I have taken.  We discuss in detail what it means to take this path, the path of service and self-investigation. We also dive into the need for Men's Work in the world, what it means to take full responsibility for one's life, what it means to be of service.  Good bit of the importance of differentiating yourself from a boy.  Good bit of the absolute necessity for us to rise into our power.     93: Dismantling the Patriarchy Within with LeeAnn Mallorie

    Welcome to Lunacy; where we discern the sacred from the insane and admit that whether we like it or not, we are all profoundly affected by the cycles of the moon. Today on LUNACY, I interview my very good friend and soul sister, LeeAnn Mallorie.  LeeAnn is a Master Coach of Executive Women and Disruptors of all sorts.   We dive deep into what it means to "dismantle the inner patriarchy" not as some sort of tear down of the status quo, but rather a reflection on where we refuse to allow ourselves to feel our feelings, give ourselves permission, and follow our heart's path.   We boil down what it means to be a man, what it means to be a woman, and how we work together to achieve the best for all around us.  There's considerable discussion of the benefits and challenges of working with Ayahuasca, and what happens when we take prayer back from religion and make it our own.     92: The Gift of Grief with Joshua Wenner

    Welcome to Lunacy; where we discern the sacred from the insane and admit that whether we like it or not, we are all profoundly affected by the cycles of the moon. Today on LUNACY, I interview Super Coach Joshua Wenner on the importance of Grieving to becoming a healthy human.  We delve into our immense propensity to ignore, numb, or otherwise transcend our grief, and how that just makes the dragon bigger.   We get into some super easy tools to help us regulate our nervous system, such as 4-6 breathing, hands under the armpits, getting your run on, and other tools.  We talk about Joshua's history in personal development, and his personal history of grief, mostly as it relates to the loss of his brother. We talk about what it means to be an adult in today's society.  How it is that we take radical responsibility for our lives, and continue to admit our failures and course correct on the path to living fully.  This is a great interview full of wisdom and insight.   There's also a bit of post mortem on the concert I just put up.  Good stuff all around.  Enjoy. *********************** I’m Geoff Eido. Today on LUNACY, we flip the switch.  My wife, Christine, interviews ME about my upcoming show at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley, CA.   We get into the heart of why LUNACY exists, how it got created, and some of my favorite moments.  She asks me about comedy and has me share some silliness of my own design.  We rap about service, and why that secret gold is so important. I share some music and talk about what this upcoming concert means to me on September 14th, the intention of it, and what it is that I'm creating with this show.  This was a lot of fun for me, and an excellent reflection on an upcoming extremely pivotal moment in my life.    *********************** I’m Geoff Eido. Today on LUNACY I drop in with my friend, comedian Neal Brennan.  Neal takes us on a tour of his crazy comedy history including the rise and fall of the Chappelle Show, and going from solely being a writer to embracing the path of stand-up.   We go deep on his own path of healing depression through ayahuasca and other entheogens, how having a partner with a five-year-old has altered his perspective,  and the power and limitations of comedy.     89: Curing the "Incurable" with Cannabis Oil with Greg Moran - Part 2

Today on LUNACY, I interview my friend Greg, or as I like to call him, Grandalf.  Greg has the unfortunate moniker of contracting Ulcerative Colitis, an "Incurable" disease that leaves one constantly on the crapper with a perpetual prescription, and a lifetime of pain and discomfort.     88: Curing the "Incurable" with Cannabis Oil with Greg Moran - Part 1

    Welcome to Lunacy; where we discern the sacred from the insane and admit that whether we like it or not, we are all profoundly affected by the cycles of the moon. Today on LUNACY, I interview my friend Greg, or as I like to call him, Grandalf.  Greg has the unfortunate moniker of contracting Ulcerative Colitis, an "Incurable" disease that leaves one constantly on the crapper with a perpetual prescription, and a lifetime of pain and discomfort. Dissatisfied and unaccepting of this diagnosis, Greg went on a search for alternative healing modalities which led him to "Rick Simpson Oil" - a highly concentrated cannabis oil that one can make at home.  This concoction literally cured the incurable, and Greg no longer has this life-long affliction.   We go in deep about why it is that science seems to be so natue-phobic, this cure that is born of nature, and how you too can cure Ulcerative Colitis or other "incurable" diseases if you are willing to walk this path.  Additionally, we begin by discussing the benefits of dieting trees and tobacco, as crazy as that sounds.  Enjoy Part 1 of this 2-Part episode. *********************** I’m Geoff Eido.
