    Episode 6: Reflections on a Winter's Hibernation

    Episode 6: Reflections on a Winter's Hibernation

In today's episode, I am sharing my experience of the 6-week hibernation I took from Yule to Imbolc. Following the Earth's seasonal wisdom, I signed off of social media and laid low in my business to give myself time to rest and be renewed. In this episode, I'm sharing my reflections from that time, as well as, how it has been transitioning back into working full-time. How time shifted from urgent to expansive. How my mindset shifted from scarcity to abundance. How that time has resulted in practical changes in my daily life. And much more. Listen in if you are looking to implement more rest and spaciousness in your own life.

How you can support period poverty in the United States:

Donate menstrual products to your local houseless shelter. Find one close to you here.
If you are a part of a college community, see if there is a student group or faculty willing to fund free products on campus.
Donate funds to #happyperiod who specifically support Black menstruators.

Episode 5: Connecting the past to the present with Celtic earth-based spirituality

Episode 5: Connecting the past to the present with Celtic earth-based spirituality

In today's episode, I am sharing what I have been learning about Celtic earth-based spirituality in the year long course I'm in with Sharon Blackie. I share a bit about my own ancestry and how embracing this earth-centric worldview has helped me decolonize my practices and connected me back into my body in the here + now. One of the main impacts for me has been learning how to take the archetypal energies of Celtic dieties + myths and plant them into the landscape where I find my feet today. At the end of the episode, I share some of the core features of the Celtic cosmology and how we can use them today to understand our present context.

Episode 3: As the Wheel Turns | Samhain Traditions and Rituals

In today's  episode, I am diving into the cycles of the Earth and it's seasons through the Wheel of the Year. As Samhain season is upon us (in the Northern Hemisphere), we'll be looking at the traditions from ancient Celtic Pagans and how those traditions can be carried through to modern day rituals. At this time of the year we are slowing down and letting go as we say good-bye to the Summer and embrace the darker months of winter ahead. Join me as we re-imagine what life would have been like at this time for our ancestors and ways we can honor them at this time of the thinning veil.
