A podcast dedicated to discussing "what we talk about when we talk about mind." This podcast is a psycholinguistic research project by Boban Dedović, a graduate researcher at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA. Each 30-60 minute episode features a guest who may know one or more languages. The topic of discussion is focused on what kinds of words, phrases, and constructions people use when referring to mental action: e.g., thinking, brain, heart, mind, thought, idea, etc. The purpose of this podcast is to share the primary source materials for an upcoming graduate thesis prepared by Boban Dedović. The working title of the thesis is "What we talk about when we talk about mind: An English lexical register of mental language words, phrases, and constructions" (est. release date August, 2021).
