    lock your doors, turn on all your lights, and remember to check under the bed. in episode 7 of this season of macabre, we travel into the darkness to take a closer look at slender man.  born in 2009 amidst hundreds of entries into an online photoshop contest, slender man quickly rose to the top of the web's creepiest legends in a matter of weeks.  he is an unnaturally tall, thin humanoid  who is said to live deep in the woods or other remote locations, and preys primarily upon children.  but what happens when the boogeyman from the story crosses the threshold into reality?  when an innocent tale meant to simply frighten and entertain brings harm upon real-life people?  could there really be an evil forest-dwelling, supernatural monster forcing our children to carry out horrific acts of violence?   we'll leave it up to you to decide what's real. join us for our season long journey into the darkness.  we hope to see you there. and remember, do be careful out there.
