Welcome to Flight Follow, a podcast by MAF. Listen to stories from some of the most isolated places in the world. Hear from our President and CEO, pilots, mechanics, partners, and more as they share their stories!
S2.5 Translation to Transformation
Bible translation is an endeavor that takes commitment and dedication. Translators Nick Swanepoel in Kenya, Africa and Stephen and Carolyn in Papua, Indonesia talk to Jenn about translating the Word of God for the Rendille people in Kenya and the Moi people in Papua, and how MAF played an integral part in their efforts.
S2.4 Like Mother, Like Son
Renee Hale talks with Jenn Wolf about how MAF made it possible for the organization she serves to bring an important medical training to DR Congo. And in the process, Renee received a special blessing as a mom and believer when she saw her son living out the calling God has placed on his life.
S2.3 What Happens in the Hangar Doesn't Stay in the Hangar
Jenn Wolf teams up with Nathan Jones to co-host this episode. Nathan goes into the hangar at MAF headquarters in Nampa, ID to talk to some of the seasoned Maintenance Specialists, and Jenn recaps highlights from her interview with one of the newest members to join the team. Jenn and Nathan learn that many of the specialists were first assigned in one of MAF's field programs around the world. However, their work here in Nampa has had a much larger global impact.
S2.2 The Disaster Response Team -- Being the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are suffering
In our second episode of Season Two, we talk with John Woodberry & Rick Enamaker, members of MAF's Disaster Response (DR) Team, about effectively and efficiently responding to disasters to save lives. We also talk to James McDowell of MedAir about the partnership he's had with MAF in order to reach people in these desperate times.
S2.1 What is to come in 2019
We kick off Season Two of the Flight Follow Podcast with David Holsten, President and CEO of Mission Aviation Fellowship. David talks about his hopes for MAF in 2019, where the term "flight follow" actually comes from, and what to expect in future episodes of Flight Follow.
S1.5 Pilots Remember a Faithful Airplane (PK-MCB)
Imagine a small Cessna aircraft, PK-MCB, serving the Church and missions for almost 50 years in Kalimantan, Indonesia, on the rugged island of Borneo. Now imagine if that airplane could talk, the stories it could tell. We’ve brought you the next best thing: stories from the pilots that flew and maintained this aircraft, and tales of the Kingdom impact it had across the island.
