A Conversation with Friends You Just Met
After listening to Ep. 49, Smash Bros. Ultimate, I was feeling pleasant… like I should’ve had this conversation with someone back in 2018! It was a fun listen and certainly a great entry point into the Podcast moving forward. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone wanting to get comfortable and discuss games in a lounge-type fashion with all the lore and news that go with it.
And I agree with Mage about Earthworm Jim.
You’ll have to listen to find out! ;)
Like talking with friends about games
I stumbled upon this podcast looking for discussion of a particular game I was considering, and I ended up getting hooked. This show features a refreshingly positive outlook on games and features a nice informal structure that feels like chatting with your gamer friends. The personal stories around the cast’s experience with a game are the highlight. It’s a great way to learn about a new game or simply reflect on one you’ve played and loved before.
Insightful Game Discussions
Listening to this podcast makes me imagine sitting by a fire with Red and his guest, sipping a glass of Scotch as they deconstruct each game from many different viewpoints. If it was, I probably wouldn't be listening to this while driving each week. (Don't drink and drive, people!) You can certainly tell this podcast and the site related to this is a labour of love for the game(s).
