    Green Bay Botanical Garden's Director of Education and Guest Experience Linda Gustke joins the show to gush about the nature and beauty of the gardens, the many programs available and their events, like their concert series on select Thursdays. They have a large amphitheater and accommodate guests with seating and more. She talks about their power ballad concert coming up including Tina Turner and Whitney Houston songs and the guys go nuts!



    Landmarks Commission Member George Davis joins to talk about Paddle the Canal in Menasha, an event that partakes during their 150th Anniversary celebration this weekend. The guys took massive interest in the drone show, which Producer Amanda firmly believes will replace fireworks someday. The Menasha Sesquicentennial (say that 10x fast) is a 2 day event starting tomorrow.

    Green Bay Parks and Recreation Deputy Director James Anderson joins to talk about the upcoming Kids Day event that the Mayor started 22 years ago. One lucky kid gets to be Mayor for the day with a police escort! So much happening that you need to check out right HERE (Bluey and Bingo will be there). The Mayor talks about how it started and what gave him the idea for Kids Day so long ago.



    They talk about all the improvements at Bay Beach for holding more events like this and Maino confesses that he's never been on a roller coaster.



    Cody Krepline with his guest Smoke are this week's Veteran's Spotlight. They discuss different programs he's involved in to help other vets and his bond to Smoke and the differences between an emotional support dog and a service dog. Some programs are archery shoots and a newer event involving a pig roast. He's working on licensing a food truck BBQ trailer Sloppy Hug BBQ (coming mid-July) with hardwood and wood fired hogs with proceeds going to Wisconsin Guardian Foundation.

    The guys talk about why they didn't sleep last night, prompting the mayor to go a bit on a rant and admit it's because he misses Producer Todd. (Sorry Amanda).



    It's Yard Games Day and the guys talk about old school jarts. how in the world did they let kids play with spears like that? yet it was teh best. Old school waterslides, maino talks about a kid he knew who got paralyzed from one. Tell us your childhood yard game stories (injuries included).     The morning starts of talking about the metric system and why the U.S. never converted. Seems like The Mayor may be on a mission to make that happen in 2025. Then Maino tells a story about Max McGee and an intoxicated individual that asked to an autography. The story brings plenty of laughs this morning. Jim also admits that he's a member of the Delta Club. Maino takes a moment to skewer him about it. Airline bars, meals and cookies. They guys also ponder taking a trip together. Maino's "sigh" after the idea was brought up, says it all.

Maino is a legend! I have missed him beyond belief!!

I moved out of the Green Bay Market in 2005 and have searched for years to find a show after your last one. I finally gave up, but then stumbled across this one. I’m very excited to get caught up!
