Easy Listening
This is a great sports podcast. It is like you are listening to a couple well informed buddies discussing sports at the bar. Good topics and great points are made. I look forward to listening to many more of their podcasts. HTTR
Refreshingly Casual Sports Talk
I am a HUGE sports fan who regularly listens to sports podcasts to the latest news and opinions about current events in the sports world. I have always loved the BS Report - especially during football season when Bill and Cousin Sal do their picks. They’re conversations always had a casual air to them and reminded me of 2 friends arguing over sports. I do that. We all do that. But for some reason, it was the only example of that particular kind of interaction that I could find in a podcast.
Enter Major League Absurdity. This is the podcast I’ve been waiting for. These two guys (Craig and Justin) are clearly two friends who just love talking about sports. They’re not trying to be anything they’re not - they’re just two regular guys who argue about sports and decided to record their arguments. It’s refreshing. Most sports podcasts try to act like THE authority on sports and come off sounding too pompous. These guys just want to talk about the topic they love. The first two episodes were great. I felt like I was sitting with them at a sports bar BSing about sports.
Even though I am a NY/DC sports fan, and these guys admit to having Philly and Dallas allegiances, I will undoubtedly continue to listen to this podcast.
